We've never been here before,and wanted to find somewhere close to London Stadium as seeing the Foo's.nWe were early for our table and Luke our greeter who was really nice in that he used my first name which i appreciate some people might be like so what,but that simple gesture meant a lot.nHe said it was no problem to go to the bar first which we did.nThe building has a great vibe,the staff are really friendly & the food was really good.nDirty fries with brisket,that was perfect.nThe burgers were great,really tasted lovely.nWe sat outside with the canal as our view,it felt a relaxing place to spend a few hours which we did.nAll 4 of us agreed we would return when next back in London.
visited yesterday early evening, took my friend there for her first time in the wick. i’ve had some cracking times at 90, i’ve celebrated my graduation, my friends birthdays, tough times, i’ve even been on dates here too, it really had become a staple place.nsadly, when i arrived, they were having some work done which is normal for hospitality as jan is the quietest month, i know as i work in the sector myself.na lovely gentleman who is the reason we paid the service charge told us it was just table service today. we sadly however waited so long to be served and had to go and ask our waitress to come and take the order, she was massivley lacking in customer service skills, didnt smile once and didnt ask us for allergies or check back on us.nluckily the food was okay as was the wine i guess.nim sure it was just a bad day at work for some of the team but we were left feeling very uncomfy and awks.nagain, slay to the young man in the parka coat for your UNREAL vibes and for being lush xx
Decent place by the canal, with nice staff.nnUnfortunately the new menu really needs a lot of work.nnThe chicken fajito taquitos have far too much chilli in and taste of nothing else. It was a shame as it looked good but tasted so bad.nnThe chicken salad.. meh.. chicken thigh meat ain't the one especially when it's nearly £13.nnDirty brisket fries... the old version was miles better and at least you had more than a mouthful of the meat previously.nnOne to avoid food wise until the new menu has settled in and been refined
I’d say that my experience was okay here. The Sunday menu was limited if you weren’t having a roast and despite it not being very busy service was really slow. Not a terrible experience at all but not 4 or 5 star. It’s in a good location so great for grabbing a beer and sitting on the canal.
The place is really cool, good house music and big space to dance/eat. The burgers we ordered weren’t too good tho, meat was dry and the ingredients werent the best. However if you dont expect something really special for 17£ it’s ok.nGood place for a reunion with bigger group of friends as they have big tables.
