Clean, friendly and contemporary hotel in traditional Scottish building. Bar/bistro weren't open in evening....not quite sure why, but would have got 5 stars if it had been open as advertised until 10pm. There are lots of places to eat nearby though.

We were there with our 11 month daughter for dinner and the staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The food is delicious and the prices more than reasonable.

Pleasant surroundings located at the centre of the town. Parking available at the rear which is Handy as the centre does get busy at the weekend. Good selection of starters, mains and a few desserts, all reasonably priced. Service and attention was very good. We had a late lunch and enjoyed ourselves over it in this relaxing establishment. Booking advised to ensure you are not disappointed.

Just walked in on first night of our holiday, busy but a table was available. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, we had half-lobster & Cajun salmon, both were delicious. Then for dessert we chose chef's special cheesecake - mmm melt in the mouth! We will eat here again while in the area.
