Needed a few trade plates printing ASAP. Number 1 Plates processed the order same day and I received the plates today - next day.  Fantastic service, great comms from Blake via email as a couple of tweaks were required, and all at a great price.  Will definitely use again

First time purchasing a private plate so thought I would go for a 4D look. The customisation options are great and helps to find a unique finish to the plates, and the quality is brilliant, will more than likely use these again in the future when I change plates! I initially used this company because I could see it was the best rated online and it didn’t disappoint. Thank you

No contact number available to speak in person, but i did get a response within the hour on social media. I actually drove to collect my plates after realising they are only 30 miles away. I had the pleasure of seeing the display of profiles and plates available and a vast amount at that. I was shocked at the amount available to be honest.  Friendly staff and plates available while you wait. There's even a nice cafe next door so you can have a brew while you wait. 4 stars given as the contact number is a letdown in this day and age.  Super happy with my short plates.... Makes the private reg POP thanks all

This is now the fourth time I've used this company and I highly recommend them to everyone who will listen.  I had to change my car recently due to Birmingham City councils enforcement of a 'clean air zone' which rendered my diesel A3 redundant. My beautiful pressed aluminium plates went with the car...  I bought an A5 in retaliation because its really fast, has a huge petrol engine and looks great.  So... I bought another set of pressed plates which again looked awesome, great price and speedy delivery.. that was 2 months ago.. My wife decided to be extra nice and buy me an early end of july birthday present of a personalised reg from DVLA.. New plates required again and without hesitation ordered from these guys again on a Sunday evening.. They arrived todaytuesday and I couldn't be happier with them.. Top job!! would give 10 stars if possible!!

Like a good few on here, I was totally mislead by their website. I put in 4D plates two sets of front and back for two different vehicles £70! It was 23.07pm and I uploaded the documents and also added to my e mail if they had gone through as 4D as the invoice did not state that they were. Had an e mail back the following morning saying all documents were good, no mention of the 4D plates. I e mailed back to Ask the question again. Sorry they have already been Manufactured and dispatched! I asked again if they would look at my e mail from the previous night. “Sorry when documentation is uploaded the order is Processed as it is sent. What is the point of e mails if they don’t Read them. I said I would report this to trading standards and Toms attitude changed straight away and said they would do the 4D for the extra £48. By this time I had already ordered what I wanted, from a fab website that worked! no fuss, no document's to be delivered in 24 hours. Thank you, My Show plates.

My son got my plate number here for my birthday done in 4D gel. I am really impressed and told my friends about it. Best quality and looks really fantastic when fitted. I'll give it a 5 stars ! Beth and Lauren from customer service are very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Well, as my car failed it's MOT due to letter spacing 2 months after purchasing gel plates from number1plates, what can be said? They were fitted to my car using a kit purchased from number1plates.  Their response is "common knowledge" to not use their own kit as it invalidates the warranty. Their site does not specify that a screw kit should not be used for gel plates.  They are refusing to budge in their position apart from I can have a 10% discount on my next purchase.  I cannot in good conscience recommend purchasing from them,  their aftersales support is non-existent and the guarantee is worthless.  EDIT - as number1plates are well aware as they manufactured the plates, there were no special requests regarding spacing. Their response is inaccurate. This has everything to do with their lack of information regarding mounting the plates and the kits that they provided.

As always now one is very skeptical about online trading but trusted google and trustpilot reviews that this supplier delivers!  I was very pleased with the transaction and couldn't have been easier.  The plates were reasonably inexpensive, communication was clear and the whole process was effortless.  The only advice and maybe it was just me is to either tape the registration document to the plates or to mention that the important document will be posted with the plates - i could have easily taken the plates out and left the registration papers in the package.  Other than that will certainly be my first point of call for any future plates requirement.

Beware!!!!! They let you buy the plates, after confirmation they say you need to provide passports/house bills. If you try to cancel immediately they charge you a £3.99 per plate admin fee. I wonder how much this company is making via this?! If I could be bothered I would contact trading standards as this can’t be right. I bought my plates elsewhere without having to provide personal documents and at a cheaper price.

Absolute joke of a company. Ordered some plates nearly 2 weeks ago for my son’s 21st birthday. Money taken immediately and the proof of ID sent straight after but have I had my plates. Have I hell. No response on WhatsApp and they are not returning my emails chasing an update, so that’s £30odd quid I’m going to have to try and get back. Avoid this lot like the plague. Only gave 1 star as I couldn’t give anything less
