Disappointing experience here last week. Saw a dermatologist as an out patient privately for some some sun damage and had no issues with his consultation - he was very prompt, efficient band professional . However could not have a treatment there and then because the ' freezing ' implement was unavailable this was down to the Nuffield ! Delay in private treatment now for 6 weeks !! Reception staff ware surely , overwhelmed by the number of patients there . Very , very disappointing private healthcare service
Great hospital. Service and care is excellent. Staff are great, attentive, kind, friendly and always there for you. I've had 4 operations here and the service and care has been fantastic on each occasion.
Based on our experience.... They just want to fleece you out of as much money as they can. The consultant my wife saw didn't seem to take her condition seriously . Ended up being prescribed some tablets which when we went to a pharmacy were going to cost us an eye watering...... £180 a month!!!! VERY POOR!! Member of reception staff had a poor attitude also ...... Not good considering we were charged £200 for 15 minutes!!! Won't be bothering again any time soon.!
I was in this hospital on the 8th February this year 23 for quite a big operation, from the time I arrived, the staff were wonderful, nothing was to much trouble. Food excellent, great choice. Thanks to all.
Nuffield boasts on site a private GP service, ‘around your schedule’. called on 23rd of December for a family member and they said the earliest they had was the 11th of January. so basically their website is a marketing lie.
Visited for a Gastroscopy with Mr Leeder. Every interaction from arriving to leaving was brilliant. Really happy with the whole experience .
Had my second hip replacement early November and thankfully the experience was so much better than the first one three years ago. The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and showed empathy. Several of the nurses hadn’t been at the hospital long but they were great. They knew what they were dealing with and took the time to communicate. My Stephen as always did a great job and I can’t recommended him highly enough. Well done Nuffield for upping your game! My only negative was that the food wasn’t as good as last time which is a shame when your tastebuds need tantalising.
Have to say if I could score 0 then I would disgraceful treatment of my 85year old dad who has had back pain right down to his hips and whole leg for about 2 years now since lockdown. Everytime he has had an appointment he's had wait 3/4 months only for it then to be cancelled without valid reason. He had recent appointment which was cancelled about 4 days before, having had last one cancelled cause covid reasons. It's not first time it's happened to him it's about 3/4 times now without a good enough reason, he's in alot pain and struggling to walk or he's having to walk on one leg. Think it's disgraceful Nuffield should be ashamed of themselves my brother's who live abroad have even tried to complain about lack treatment, but there's only so much they can do, when u ring people you can't get through to anyone the whole establishment is a disgrace I don't know how these people sleep at night. I feel ashamed that my national insurance is being funded into these jokers for what ? They don't do anything other than keep cancelling appointments, maybe preferential treatment for some people certainly not my dad. Don't really surprise me that there are others complaining on here too, Nuffield need to take a good hard look at themselves if it was there dad or mum how would they feel ?
I recently had a partial knee replacement at Nuffield. I was really pleased with the service I received overall, from the staff, the food and the cleanliness of the hospital. All of the staff were outstanding and I’d especially like to thank a nurse called Amy. My doctor, Dr Bangoo was very skilful and had an excellent, cheerful and professional manner. I had a very comfortable stay at the hospital and I am happy with how my knee is healing.
No a good recent experience where Doctor was to casual and did not bother to take notice e of my wife's ill condition.
