Really great food. Staff are friendly, not to attentive. But well worth a visit. Will definitely be coming back
A superb Indian restaurant. Very spacious, lovely decor, very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent, and they offer a great selection on the menu. Very well priced and very high quality cuisine. Definitely worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely love this place coming all the way from hull many occasions for it, there's nothing to fault !!! staff are really welcoming and friendly will do as must as they can for you, food is gorgeous clean flavoursome and very well priced would rate more stars if could
Turned up without booking mid evening. Seated quickly and had a lovely meal. Good food and service. Thank you! Parking: A few parking spaces at the front of the restaurant otherwise pay and display carpark 50 yards away. No problems parking. Wheelchair accessibility: The front of the restaurant has steps and wasn't aware of any other entrance or aids for wheelchair users.
The staff here are very friendly and polite,we went early bird on a Wednesday evening so was given a 15% discount on our final bill, even though the prices were already amazing ! And the food is delicious and plentiful On visiting Pickering we will always go back to this lovely restaurant
To call this an Indian restaurant is a crime. This place is a scam! My wife and I ordered a chicken biryani, lamb roganjosh, pilau rice, naan and raita. The biryani was nothing like biryani at all. It was some odd mixture of rice, peas, cucumber, chicken pieces and lettuce! And it came with an even stranger yellow vegetable curry of some sort, that didn't taste of anything at all. It was even lacking in salt! The raita was just plain yogurt with a couple of slices of cucumber, and the yogurt didn't even taste like yogurt. The worst dish was the lamb roganjosh - this was atrocious! It was a couple of pieces of lamb in a bowl with a ton of tomato pieces straight out of a can! Absolute scam! This restaurant would not survive a week in a place where people actually knew what Indian food is supposed to taste like. If the owner had any decency at all, they'd either close up the place or look for a chef who actually knows how to cook Indian food.
Really friendly staff, great food and amazing service would definitely recommend.
Very good food and staff were very helpful and friendly
Staff welcoming and helpful, and the mixed starter was lovely, but when we received our main courses which after the starter we were really looking forward to it was disappointing, chilli was the only taste, no subtle or otherwise taste of other herbs and spices The sag aloo that we ordered as a side dish tasted of spinach and potatoes but nothing else. Very bland! Altogether a disappointing experience which we will not repeat
Lovely food, lovely staff and excellent value for money Kid-friendliness: Plenty of children eating with their families
