Wanted a taxi from hotel to hospital to pick up a patient then bring her back. A previous taxi firm I'd contacted had been unhelpful; this firm were a pleasure to deal with, sent a very helpful driver and charged a reasonable fare. Will definitely use them in future if needed.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Booked the night before and they were still FOURTY MINUTES LATE. I rang last night to book a cab for 8:35am. Plenty of notice. I called at 8:35 and was told my cab would be ten minutes. I rang ten minutes later to be told ten minutes again. I had booked the cab to be at work on time for 9. It is now 8:56 and still no sign on my taxi. The men at the firm dismiss me when I question what is going on. DO NOT RECOMMEND. In fact, 100% the worst cab service I’ve ever used. This is not the first time this has happened. The cab didn’t arrive until 9:15. JOKE OF A SERVICE!!!!!

Do not waste your money with this company, they will let you down and lie to your face. Absolutely diabolical service and they wonder why they’d re losing out to Uber? Pre-book a taxi, it is late; so I call the company and they act surprised that the driver isn’t already with me. The operator says that their GPS system is down and so they can’t see where the cars are how many times have they used this lie?, this leads me to think that the driver is on its way and not far from me. A few minutes after the call I get a notification that a driver has been found for me and they are all the way across the other side of the town. They never booked me a driver and then lied about it.
Awful experience today 02/11/2022. I WAS VERY DISTRESSED. Had an emergency with my asthmatic son and tried booking a taxi on the NC App but there were no cars available for over 15 mins. I then cancelled without a confirmed booking and was charged. On calling NC to query this they were not helpful at all and the man i spoke to was unsympathetic and not bothered even in the tone of his voice he was very dismissive. I was told I was charged because I booked through the app even without getting a confirmed booking and there was nothing he could do and that I will be getting a refund in about 5 days. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH NOTRINGHAM CARS
Verbal abuse from a Nottingham cars driver driving badly on the road was reported by me a day later and ignored for weeks to date. Shocking that they don’t even have the courtesy to respond to my complaint or follow up email, let alone take it seriously and investigate poor behaviour from their employees! Do not use.
Still a massive fan of NC and a regular customer . The only thing I will say on this occasion was I found the driver unfriendly and a bit ignorant. This is not a complaint just I hope useful feedback as one of the things that make me use NC and no other is the lovely attitudes of your drivers and unfortunately on this occasion it was not the case. I do not mind someone not talkative but try and be polite if your passenger speaks to you . Kind Regards
Drivers are helpful and efficient but stear away from using they app as I had two cancellations of pre - booked trips with no reason and no information. Best to call them to order taxi and ask for card payment link to pay before trip.
Never commented not had any issues in 30 years plus ! . However when the young driver pulled up with clouds of smoke coming from the car and a foul smell I definitely will not be ordering from this company again!. When asked the driver what he was smoking I was told " I'm not smoking I'm vaping init " ?! . I explained I didn't want the foul stench to stick to my clothes and was told " I could tell you to get out now !! Unbelievable . No curtesy , manners nor respect or thoughts for paying customers. They should be named Nottingham "chavs" not cars ! Avoid at all costs as specially if your dressed ready for a function.
