Best value for money. Had over 100 rides now for example Uber wanted 30 quid and wait 25 minutes in rain. DG done it for 15 quid and 3 minute wait. Good drivers clean cars arrive on time can track them multiple ways to pay and never a bad experience. 5 star would give 6
My ride was great! The driver was punctual, ever so polite, the car was spotless & just lovely all around. DG better than Uber both in service and in price hands down! ... a big thumbs up from me!! Thank you DG.
Spot on service again. Had to use the mini bus this time and wow what a great service, had to change flight times twice which was no problem on time what more could I say. Both drivers were friendly and polite I would not hesitate to recommend this firm, I will certainly use them again
I haven't been able to log into the dg cars app for several days now because I forgot my password. I do not receive a confirmation code by email and there is no code in the spam folder either. I wrote to the support service, yesterday I received an email asking me to provide my information. OK. No one else answered me. This is a taxi app, not a bank account, and I still can’t log into it...
We will never use dg cars again after being left stranded at 11pm last night. the booking was done through the app and my wife is disabled, but they cancelled 2 minutes after they should have picked us up! They would not answer when we tried phoning to see why, but when we eventually got home after waiting for Yellow cars who saved the day we rang them and they were full of inadequate excuses. No adequate explanation and no apology, totally unacceptable and complete lack of customer service! Will NEVER use this company again.
Pre-booked a taxi and it didn't show up, when I called I received an automated message saying they were still trying to allocate me a driver, at 5 minutes past the scheduled pick up time! As a result I had to book via another taxi firm and was very late for my doctor's appointment. Not good enough, no wonder Uber is taking over with service like this.
Although I had problems with my phone trying to call our driver. All was successfully resolved and Craig our driver was most helpful with our numerous suit cases in the rain. All in all a good result.
I'm a little late posting but had a very annoying issue last time I used these! I booked a cab in advance days before for Saturday 4th August. At the time, it should have been picking us up, we got a notification that my driver was in Sheffield and would be with me in 35 mins ! I live in Long Eaton Nottingham ! I rang them, they apologised and sent another driver. I was late for my engagement ! I have to say, though, I feel the price was high ! And have now been put off using these going forward !
Booked a taxi by phone for my husband returning to Manchester airport on a delayed flight. They said they'd watch the flight info to see estimated landing time. They only set off from Nottingham to collect him once the flight had landed! That was another 2 hour wait at midnight after a delayed flight. Never known a taxi company like it - he was fuming! Definitely not using again.
Really good trip, driver kept up to date with road closures and made sure we took a good alternative route so no holdups. Very professional and helpful.
