My most local, local. You pay a bit more but the Piper is a lovely independent pub. A wide range of drinks, friendly staff and great atmosphere. It's also really family friendly, has a separate restaurant area and has a room you can book out for functions etc.

Being refurbished & will be closed for a month from 25th February 2018 Good crowd of pleasant sorts get in here. Good for a relaxing evening. Ken the Manager is a great guy & his wife Helen is a treasure.

Lovely traditional English Pub. Had a Sunday roast (lamb) and the missus had Corned Beef Pie. Meals were piping hot and service was good and quick. Only slight down side was Gammon and Lentil soup was a bit too mushy! All in all, good value for money.

Lovely lunch and excellent value. Highly recommend.

Went there on Friday night and had fish & chips. The fish was huge and delicious. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Little bit peeved that they charged me for paying by debit card but very pleased otherwise.
