Car broke down in the evening, RAC towed me to NCCC, got a phone call at 9 am the next morning with Sandra who assisted me. Lovely customer service. Found a fault with the spark plugs which caused ny car to go into limp mode. My car was fixed the same day, washed and given back to me in 5 hours. Would definitely recommend.
I am completely dissatisfied with the repair service. I was experiencing an issue with my rear wiper washer, as the water wasn’t flowing. On my first visit in the morning, they took my car in for a review and asked me to return after a couple of hours. To my surprise, I wasn’t even offered a courtesy car to get back home. In the afternoon, I received a call from the service center informing me that the issue was due to a failed jet spray, which needed to be replaced with a new part they had ordered from BMW for £12. The part was scheduled to arrive the next day. I had to walk back to the center to pick up my car because I didn’t want to leave it there overnight. The next day, I visited again in the morning as the part had been delivered. Once I arrived, my car was taken in for repair. Within five minutes, they informed me that there was a possible issue with the motor and that it would cost £200 to replace it, including labor and VAT. This was shocking! Why wasn’t this diagnosed correctly during the initial inspection? There was no way I was going to pay such a large amount. Frustrated, I returned home and used a small screwdriver to clean the blocked jets myself. The washer started working smoothly. In the end, I was charged £84 for nothing of value.
Both myself and my partner have been using this garage for a few years now but they don't seem the same as they once were. Took my van in and told them I thought the problem was a wheel bearing and a ball joint on the drive shaft. They fixed the drive shaft, no problem but they told me there was nothing wrong with the wheel bearing and that the problem was my tyres, which fair enough they did need replacing. However, they clearly didn't even check the bearing as when I got my van back it was still making the exact same noise and felt exactly the same as before. Having thought that they didn't even bother to check the bearing and it being a fairly serious thing to need replacing if damaged I took my van elsewhere to get looked at. The next garage I took it to were shocked that the bearing issue wasn't noticed as soon as the wheel was removed to change the tyre as it was loose and rubbing on the brake disc. NCCC were happy enough to allow me to drive with a loose bearing which was in turn damaging my brake disc! Quite frankly I find this unbelievable as this is quite obviously dangerous. I understand that I am not a mechanic but I have many years of experience of driving and being around vehicles and would of expected that they would at least check what I thought was wrong with the vehicle and not to just assume it was the tyres, especially as what I could feel and described to them did not seem at all tyre related. I feel they took a quick fix solution that didn't fix the problem at all. Leaving me with a dangerous vehicle and a bigger bill for more labour costs. I will not be returning any of mine or my partners vehicles to this garage as I cannot risk being left with an unsafe vehicle for obvious reasons
Fabulous service from Northfield car care centre. Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Very swift M.O.T. Was recommended to me and i would most definitely recommend.
My review still stands, this garage is absolutely brilliant, my mot failed in 2021, got it straight through same day with the repairs, I had the MAFF sensor an ABS sensors go this year an AA paid out for it via this garage, an also my clutch went last week, car feels brand new for a 14 plate high mileage 123k I stalled it twice cause I was so used to how worn my old one was. Seriously use this garage they are knowledgeable, they keep you updated on what's happening, an if needs be they'll work you a payment plan.
Had an immobiliser problem with my wife's Hyundai I10. 4 other garages didn't want to know and advised I go to a main dealer which could have been very expensive. They investigated the problem and even brought in an outside expert to help. Problem was solved and the car now starts first time. Even identified the MOT was up and sorted that as well. Total cost was very reasonable given the amount of time spent on the car. Can't recommend highly enough and will be taking my car there for servicing etc in the future.
Absolutely fantastic service. Car suffered fuel leak. Was booked in within 48 hours. Regular updates on what the fault was and cost of repair and I had her back in time for the weekend. Would highly recommend. Use these guys for my MOT and service too and always a fantastic, reliable service. Excellent communication throughout made what was a very stressful experience so much easier. Thank you!
I went to have my puncture repaired and didn't expect it to be done so quickly and efficiently. Kai looked after me and even showed me what he was doing when he took the tyre off and explained it all really well. I left a £5 tip and advised Kai to take this as he looked after me and I will go back to this place if I need to. Thanks kai.
Rip off had lots of shoddy work done. Car came out needing loads of other stuff doing. Try to charge me £400 for egr valve. Got it fitted for £200. Avoid tell you lies aswell
I brought the car in because it had a water ingress. The garage advised that the scuttle panel needed unblocking as this was cause of the leak. That didn’t fix the issue and the leak didn’t improve at all. I came in several times as the car continued to leak every time it rained, only to be told by the garage as far as they were concerned the issue had been fixed. I took it to a different garage, who confirmed I had a severe leak coming through from a panel behind the pedals. I asked for a refund for the work the garage did as it wasn’t needed and didn’t fix the issue. The garage refused to refund me and didn't apologise.
