An unscheduled visit to this location today. The two men that helped me with booking and fitting license plate change were great. Thank you. No fuss, no inconvenience for them, they were happy to help me with the change over. Very grateful! Thanks for the great service today. Sorry I didn’t get your names.
They checked my brakes and said they are absolutely spot on. However, a month later MOT mechanic found out that my rear brakes are really worn and near metal! Three days later brake lights came on. I would never ever go to this place since they don’t understand the importance of what they are doing and would put you and your beloved ones at real risk.Service: Brake service & repair
Booked in to get my MOT done and was told they couldn't test my car due to an excessive oil leak which is fair enough. I asked the guy at the desk when collecting my car if he could recommend anywhere that could help sort out the leak and he said "no not around here, take it to a dealers" and implied that my car is at a total loss because it was "so bad". Took my car to a trusted garage today and the oil leak was fixed within a few hours and only cost £300 including labour and they also got my MOT done for me as well. Be vary wary about what the people at this garage tell you and get a second opinion if they tell you your car is finished. In all honesty I felt as though they just could not be bothered.Service: Brake service & repair
I went in there with a slow puncture that I've had for months. They saw me straight away, worked on my tyre found the problem quickly. The problem was a broken valve. When I went to pay they said you know what it's on us and let me have this service with zero cost. Will 100% go back :D
I had a free tyre health check here. I was really worried as my tyres felt weird but they really reassured me and explained what the issue was and that I had been over inflating. I have to say, i feel the service given was poor to say the least. When i arrived and the car was booked in the garage was that full there was barely enough room to sqweeze between the cars already parked there sideways. Then it took 2 days to get the tyre changed. I will say there was an issue with getting the correct tyre as it was a lease car but 2 days seems a tad extreem. They were very poor at keeping up informd of any delays we had to keep calling them which wasnt always answerd so didnt know what was happening. To be honest it would not be a garage i use again if i had a choice.
Took my car for it's MOT. Really good, no nonsense, nice people. Will definitely go there again.
Good busy auto centre, very friendly staff and helpful. There are few good years since I bring my car here for service and they never let me down. The prices can be a bit high compared with other auto services, but it is quite convenient as it is close to work and they are ok to leave the car longer or bring it much earlier. In the last few months they got really busy so you might struggle a bit to go in and out. I had problems before with Halfords auto centres, but not with this one and that's why I choose them and I recommend them, they are good and serious.
Poor service. Been almost 3 weeks. Still waiting for them to sort out something with my warranty company about fixing my car. Will just go to an independent garage now.
Halfords was cheaper than my other choices and the shop assistant he was a great help ,doing minor work on my car ,halfords in bordesley green , thank you
