Absolutely love this place. Food is delicious a d good value. Servers are friendly and welcoming. Only negative I'd say is that the bathrooms need some work. Vegetarian options: Cheese toasties, mac and cheese.
We came down to Manchester for a long weekend from Scotland in celebration of our first anniversary & the sole reason we chose to come was this restaurant. My partner had seen an advert for it on Just Eat & was adamant we had to visit & my god did you guys deliver. We absolutely adored our meal, it was absolutely amazing & our service was just as good. I can’t remember clearly but I think our server was Dan? But anyway he was great & super quick with everything! We would thoroughly recommend visiting here if you’re ever in the vicinity!
10/10 food, 10/10 service. It was super busy so worried how long the wait might be, less than 15 mins our food arrived! Huge portion. We ordered a side of chips and could hardly touch them because we were so full from the sandwiches! We went here a few years ago and glad to see the food is still top standard. We paid £31 total. Worth it.
Used to be amazing - a cheese dream. Now that they have become a cookie cutter place, it sucks. Limited choices. Sparse toppings and dry bread. £12 with some mass produced frozen chips that are coated in paprika to hide their mediocrity. I used to feel like the chef cared and loved what he was doing. This time I felt like Weatherspoons would have been better.
came here to eat with my sister for the first time and the sandwiches are amazing, the new york and the mac and cheese are absolutely amazing, i was so full i thought i was pregnant but it was so worth it, beautiful girls, nice guys, amazing milkshake, and the music was just. will definitely turn into a regular because that was too good.
What an absolute banger of a place. We had a chicken grilled cheese and it was incredible. Really garlicky, bit you could taste all of the different flavours. The sandwich itself was huge, we shared one between 2 people. The service was lovely and for the size and quality, the price was great. That chicken was a game changer.

We stopped here for a super late lunch last week. The service from both waiters was attentive and helpful. The old Motown soul playlist made for great atmosphere. We split a classic toastie with bacon and fries, which was plenty of food for the two of us. I recommend adding the bacon to the toastie, it was have been a bit sweet without the salty bacon. I loved the crinkle fries and the seasoning they used on them. Great place, highly recommended.
It's pretty good but at the end of the day it's just a grilled cheese sandwich. It wasn't as "amazing" as we expected it to be. I'd say it's a one time visit. The prices are also quite high for a sandwich with a few toppings and loads of cheese. If you fancy a grilled sandwich and you don't want to make it at home, this is the place to go. It's the best one I've had in a restaurant but again, it's just a cheese sandwich. The atmosphere and the staff are amazing tho!
I’ve had this place saved for a visit for years, FINALLY I made it for lunch and it was certainly worth the wait! They very kindly allowed us to bring our dog inside too which helped us avoid sitting outside in the cold. The mac n cheese is definitely one of the best I’ve ever tried. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Manchester. Thanks to the lovely wait staff too
