By far the best place for the thickest, most tasty milkshakes I’ve ever had! It’s definitely my favourite place to go for the best mac n cheese and any grilled cheese sandwiches. They are so good, as are the mozzarella sticks and the seasoned fries! Not to mention, the staff is so friendly and lovely, they always do their best to accommodate and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!
The place has a great relaxed vibe, staff are really friendly and the guy who took our order remembered everything from memory without writing it down which me and the Mrs thought was a great trick. The food was absolutely amazing with fantastic portion sizes. However the star of the show for me has to be the honey chicken wings they were the largest, crispiest and most flavoursome wings I’ve ever had and would highly recommend them. Toasties are also the best your going to get anywhere.
I've been here tens of times for takeaway grilled cheese sandwiches, but I have never tried the wings. Honestly, the honey and sesame chicken wings are the best wings I ever had! From how they looked and of course they tasted, it was an extremely pleasant experience and I would recommend them to anyone! Of course, the atmosphere and the service was top-notch as always!
Staff are friendly and approachable. Food is delicious, only docked one star as we unanimously didn't like the Man'n'Cheese grilled cheese sandwiches. The burger and chicken ones were INCREDIBLE. Well worth a visit!
We visited for lunch today and the food did not disappoint. Fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches and the best Buffalo chicken Wings we've ever had. But guys, you need to be telling customers as soon as they sit down if you've not got menu items available and not when they order bacon jam on this occasion. Not only were we disheartened, but so were the tables either side of us who weren't told, so that's three unhappy tables at least and it was only 12.45.
Service was great and as usual my favourite Classics and the Ham & Cheese toast were really great as ever. Just a small negative that the purple cabbage salad was not well marinated and lacked some flavour on both dining occasions. Unfortunately, prices have risen by a quid probably due to inflation pressure which was understandable. For £6.90 it can be a little pricey. Hopefully things will get better. I have been visiting them whenever I have to travel to Manchester for work. Unfortunately their former store near the Piccadilly station has closed and hopefully they’ll reopen there again!
Where to begin… This place has been on Manchester culinary tour for what seems like an eternity, nowhere else in the country have I had a grilled cheese like the creations they serve here. In terms of the food, make sure to come here with a BIG appetite and I mean BIG, the sandwiches alone are no joke. I would also strongly recommend you order some sides, because they are almost as good as the sandwiches. Personally I’m a vegetarian but my friends raved about the wings. The current Christmas menu also had some pleasant surprises AKA The Jameson Infused Irish Hot Chocolate which was a welcome tonic to the baltic Manchester conditions. Used to come to the original location as a Student, enjoyed it even more as an adult. Staff, Atmosphere and Music on point. You have to try this place if you’re in Manchester, HOWEVER come early because the queues can get a little long.
I’d been meaning to head here for ages! It did not disappoint. A small wit for a table shows the popularity of this place, it’s a short wait worth having, the engagement the staff create is impressive, the food even more so. It’s a cheese monsters heaven where the quality of the food is really evident, a good selection of drinks together with an epic vibe makes this place a absolute must visit.
Best chicken wings in Manchester.!! Honey soy and Korean red are both amazing. Each piece is big, we couldn’t finish 6 wings each. Also watermelon iced tea was great!!
The “N Do Ya” was great! Bread was golden brown and cooked well. Cheese could be a bit meltier, but it tasted great. Also tried “The Classic”, and The chutney was sumptuous - warm with a tasty mix of sweet and savory. The vibe was great too, with soul and jazz music playing in the background.
