Good displays ,but undergoing a refurb until 2020/21
Closed for refurb but I got a sneak peak and it is going to be amazing.
Went specifically to see the show exhibition and loved it! Very informative and loads of shoes on display. Examples from across the world, from 18th century China to the Spice Girls, via an elephant boot from Hannibal's crossing of the Alps - something for everyone!
A fabulous way to while away several hours. Who would have thought shoes could be so interesting? They have many ever-changing exhibitions, recent ones include 'Horrible Histories'. Highly recommended.
Great place for the family and learning local history
Please be advised that the Museum is open from 12pm on Sundays not 2pm. We have notified Google of this, but are hoping it will be changed as soon as possible. Many Thanks
