Sharon just booked me a telephone appointment. I received “outstanding service”. She was patient, understanding, polite and kind. I also had a telephone call back with Mandy the Nurse Practitioner, who was equally as helpful. Just spoke with Georgie who was excellent and very proactive in booking me an appointment. I cannot rate this surgery high enough. Having been a patient here for over 6 years, they are absolutely brilliant. I have needed their help far more than usual over the last 10 months due to constant chronic illnesses and they have been consistent, helpful and super efficient whenever I have needed them- nothing is too much trouble. For those complaining about the phone line wait times, please remember they receive a huge constant stream of phone calls. If you wait on in the telephone queue they will get to you, and are always accommodating. Remember the ladies on reception are fighting fire with the number of patients needing appointments versus those appointments available, please be kind. I say this as I sat in the waiting room this week and listened to a man be very rude to the receptionist. Great work team, you are all wonderful.
I cannot believe how far this surgery has fallen in service and quality, Yes the staff are under pressure, unfortunately they’re not the only ones. Several times over the last few months we have tried to get appointments for our children and ourselves and it is nothing short of ridiculous. I wasn’t aware reception staff were qualified doctors, My wife is on hold now and it’s been over 53minutes! Oh the surgery doesn’t open until 830, I rang at 830 and was 17th in line.nnJust got through and was then put back on hold?nnI wonder if there is a correlation between difficulty in gp appointments and 6hr waiting times in A&E?
Called to get an update on a referal from my optician which was sent over a month ago, and it hasn't even been opened yet. I've been with this practice for over 25 years and it's levels of service has gone dramtically downhill, especially in the last 5 years.
What fantastic service, phoned at 2.15 for a nurses appointment, got a cancellation for 3.15 the same day and was seen bang on time by a lovely really helpful lady. Great all round service and lovely, pleasant receptionist.
