The amount of council tax the people pay to get literally nothing in return back is astounding. The police are never around and bad youth run rampant. The buses never work and are late or cancelled. The area where I live is filthy and I called to request street cleaning and nothing happened. Awful, literally just paying because you have to.
I was at the tip on cottage beck road and noticed some foam padding had been dumped in the skip that could be recycled. I saw the sign about not taking stuff out but asked anyway in the interests of recycling. After being told "sorry mate it's council property now" this worthless product was left there. Nice to know that "jobsworths" at the council stick 2 fingers up to recycling but hands out fines to the public who do not
Recently expirenced racist waste recylcling manager .no wonder most people who work ther are white.symptomatic of the whole council.
Local council as a government organization was created by a nation with an aim of serving provide service needed by a nation. Instead of having two swimming pools in Scunthorpe. Council decided to demolish old swimming pool put your money in to the bin and build the new one. Kids in secondary school know that 2 is greater than 1. What qualification is needed to get a job at North Lincolnshire council? Air quality – If the business impacts the environment in negative way, it has to pay a fine. So dear owners of British Steel I expect you to clean my windows and car twice a month, how you are going to clean my lungs, I don’t know but that’s your problem now. How much less money people of North Lincolnshire would pay for the council tax if our rubbish would be recycled and the profit from it would come back to us tax payers ? You would know it if council would not employ privet company to do it. Nowadays you give them glass, aluminum, steel , plastic, organic waste and you don’t get nothing for it back.
Most of services accessible on the website, very easy to use and no need for phone calls. Waste and recycling services great, ordered new bin and it was delivered the following day. So far didn't come across with rudeness or discrimination. I just can't believe some 1* reviews, please people be kind. Also would like to mention gardening services, fabulous flowers around Brigg. Thank you.

Not customer friendly & seem to put most of their recourses past Brumby Corner. The council Leader sent back money to central government to help the unemployed out with council tax payments saying they didn't need it as ALL unemployed had Tvs and mobiles .
Tried to order a replacement bin for our new home ... impossible ... told many times over 2 WEEKS that their systems were down or that we could n't order a bin for other stupid reasons .... it seems that NLC are willing to let rubbish pile up in the streets .... POOR POOR POOR . The level of service from this public body is dire . MUST DO BETTER !!
If I could leave a no star I would, absolute joke we pay the amount of tax we do to these people for next to nothing back!
