Good, quiet, old, seaside town for visiting with several attractions.  A retirement town for many but it has golf courses, fishing, bird-spotting and a summer festival.  Well worth the trip, especially in Summer/Autumn. there is a hill called Berwick Law, which has a pair of whale's jawbones placed as an arch which has been there for ages.
Some good restaurants and inns to partake of local seafood and locally brewed beer. Only caveat, maybe not a great place for teenagers, there is no night life except pubs.
