Amazing bookshop. My little one enjoyed our time there. She happily walked around the children's table, and leafed through the sample books. That helped a lot with picking books for purchase. We both two music books from the same serial she liked on the display. And one more. I even managed to feed her on the sofa in the children's department and put the sleeping baby into the stroller. The staff was just amazing. Would be definitely going back and looking forward to attending their events with children literature authors.
Love this haven not just because I was invited to do a children's book event there! It's a welcoming place to browse full of treasures for young and old
I’d quite forgotten how lovely it is to visit a real live bookshop! This one carefully curated , went in thinking I’d buy just one book but of course came out with 4!
Lovely book shop! i love the recommendations in certain books and the selection of books you have! Also a really nice variety of cards and other stationery bits nice wrapping paper, advent calendars etc can’t wait to visit again :
Unfortunately, having been a frequent customer at Nomad over many years, I recently had a really bad, indeed humiliating, experience. I committed the cardinal sin of taking in a book I wrote myself months previously 'Spanish Practices' by Richard Townsend in the hope that a local and independent bookshop might be interested in stocking it. The reception could not have been more hostile or aggressive. The book was dismissed as "self-published" it isn't! and after that I was told that I was wasting my time. No wonder Amazon is cleaning up!
Took our granddaughter for a book reading. My daughter has taken her to a few of them. The back room is dedicated to children's books and activities and is quite large. There is a very small selection of French books, mostly aimed for older children. I didn't notice any other languages, although I heard a spoken
Cosy independent bookstore with an impressive collection of fiction and non fiction books. Their selection of french, cooking and children's books makes it worth a visit :
Very cute book shop, laid out nicely with what appears to be a staff specific curated set of books. So not the largest selection but a very good and focused selection. Additionally it has a very large children's selection.
Wonderful place to enjoy browsing through books. They always have good suggestions if you're looking for a new read or a gift. It's also easy to order a book for pickup if you're looking for something specific.
Wonderful place with a huge selection of children’s books. The way the books are categorized is most helpful and encouraging for readers. Extremely friendly, humorous, delightful and knowledgeable staff! Particularly enjoyed Aude’s enthusiasm and dedication. They are willing to research your reading requirements and provide recommendations for books beyond what is available in the shop. An interesting collection of totes and trinkets as well. Seating is available but limited though I did not check to see if there was another floor.
