One of my favourites bars in Dublin! The atmosphere is amazing, especially in the “outside” terrace. The staff is friendly and they recognise you if you go several times. The food and cocktails are good. It’s well furnished, not too hot, not too cold. The only disadvantage would be the price of the cocktails 12€, and you will get mostly ice but that’s the case everywhere anyway.
Have always loved this bar but recently had the most delicious brunch there. The hollandaise was superb and the tacos super tasty. I really want to go back for all the amazing looking cocktails!! I was really impressed with their newly renovated outdoor area very cool! Staff as always super friendly and helpful!
Cocktails are so so good I tryed 4 different cocktails . The staff from the bar and the staff who took the orders are so nice . The best place to hang out, thank you all
This is a great spot to grab cocktails. They have a good selection of wines and beer on tap but unlike many bars they have an extensive cocktail menu. The location is handy right in the city and they have a covered outdoor area with heaters which is great if you want to have a smoke.
Music really good and interior is also really cool, feels like you’re at someone’s house having a party. But the Bar staff are SO BAD. I ordered a single vodka white which was 9 euros Dublin prices so not surprised how expensive it was and was given a vodka with tonic water and it was ABSOLUTELY VILE. I asked if they could put some juice in the drink as it was so bad. The man behind the bar was pure ignorant and rude and put a dropper of cranberry juice in it and I asked if he could put more in it seen as I just paid for the drink and it’s not even drinkable and he said no that I’d have to pay for more juice if he was to put in more. I’d be happy to pay for the juice if they didn’t mess up my drink in the first place. I’d ordered two drinks before hand and got my vodka and white with no issues so don’t know why they decided to give me the wrong thing this time. I’d recommend going elsewhere where you’d be treated better
The amount of last comments ends in a complaint of every conversion with the same "it's too load in here". Even ordering drinks you would think that everyone is playing Chinese whispers but no, it's trying commutate some reminisce of a shout that has been drowned down to a whisper of untanglibity and ends up with hands up and a shrug. It would be better with just sign language as there just as much as hand gestures. When questioned staff they agree but normalize it the most Irish way, don't make a fuss and just put up with it....Why management think that less clear communication between customer and staff is good thing...? Thought needed to be focused some sound engineering to obtain better balance of atmospherics balance between customers, staff and ambiance.
Guy being super racist deciding not to let me in but letting in all the white guys.. based on no reason at all.. Racist because my appearance!
First it is important to establish that I went there many times five years ago, so changes were inevitable. As such it is still a lovely bar while becoming more "modern" or "stylish" than most of the bars and pubs in Dublin. While I still miss the old charme of a bar which felt like it was just some guys flat it is still nice in its own way. If you want to get some drinks in an more alternative looking place look no further than this.
I was looking for bars with rooftops in the city center, found this one and what a nice surprise! It is not easy to find it because you need to go to the first floor, but when you enter the place you love it! It is really different from the normal pubs in Ireland. Nice place to have drink in the afternoon or to go out with friends. The cocktails are nice but a bit expensive. But I really enjoyed this place! Truly recommend.
If you book the red room.. Which is supposed to be a private room be prepared to have to police it yourself as people can just walk in. Also at around 10 ó clock they will turn up the music so loud you can't hear what anyone is saying.. So also be prepared for a sore throat the next day.
