A great spot for breakfast and lunch. Large venue and tables well spaced out. Vibrant atmosphere and reasonably priced. Decent sized portions food tastes great would recommend the chicken burger/gouging for lunch and the full Irish/pancakes for breakfast - the restaurant allows you to choose what you would like in the Irish breakfast so you can replace eggs tomorrows etc with more rashers or sausages. Staff were friendly and attentive with fast service
Great food and coffee. The hot chocolate was really good and worth the price! We were able to sit right away, staff was friendly. The restaurant had skylights so feels spacious and light.
€13.95 for an Open Chicken Sandwich see below - more plate then food but we apparently have to be happy as we are supporting local - do something seriously ASAP or sadly you will be closed down! I cannot wait to have a reply from the manager again its what we are paying you to do - so I would love to hear your reply - is the below picture worth €13.95 - use as many words as you can and in great detail please.
The service was quite good in Cafe No 9, and the staff are friendly. The salad portions were really good. When it comes to food, I am a little bit fussy. I normally order something that I won't cook at home or it's too complicated. I had haloumi cheese salad, and I would enjoyed it more if the dressing had a little bit of honey or something sweet on top of the cheese. Also, the dressing was a little bit too oily for my liking. Friend of mine who is very easy going, thought that garlic mushrooms were over done. I have to say, they were very small mushrooms too. I will be trying something else when I'll be in Waterford next.
Any time we head to Waterford this is first restaurant we go too. Absolutely love food here, from bbq wings to fish chips to pizza to breakfast. Large portions and great value for money. And takeaway pizza box is offered It's large spacious resturant, and now the stable yard is connected, to accommodate pizza lovers. Its table service and waiting Staff are friendly concencious, can't fault them. Toilets were spotless Highly recommend, for all the family, child friendly high chairs coloring pages crayons etc
Went to this place after parkrun -- not being from Waterford it was tricky to find using google maps as inside a shopping centre. Food was epic though. Hot chocolate was the best i have tested. It can be extremely busy but worth the wait & unsure about wheelchair access. You can park at the hotel nearby for free.
Went in for breakfast on Thursday and service was really good. We got the avacado toast and bacon pancakes. The food was good but the building/layout and the service stole the show. Would highly reccomend and will come back
Good looking but not that tasty to me. The bruschetta was wet by the time they served it to me & the topping was not rich in taste. The sausage was salty & onions were not caramelised onion, they were big juicy chunks of fried onion.
lovely restaurant and very polite friendly staff , but very sneaky and waaaaay overpriced and absolutely no flexibility . i initially wanted a full Irish but i don't like tomatoes or mushrooms so asked could i swap them for a rasher and sausage. they said no and I'd have to order the 8 item breakfast which is 11.50, so I did. After ordering he asked tea or coffee which I asked for coffee . by the time I got food the coffee was gone so I asked for a refill with the food . when I went to pay , i was charged 18.50. they charged for each coffee . they never indicated this while I was ordering . tea /coffee is always included. this is very sneaky. this and the fact that it cost 18.50 for a fry up is the reason i won't be back here again .
Nice location and friendly staff. A varied menu with lots of options. Queues for seating at lunchtime. Try the homemade lemonade!Food: 4/5
