Genuinely good taco place on Balham High Road. Thank God the portions are big - so you'll only need 3-4 dishes among 2 people. Everything we had was great. Standout dishes for me were the Beef Quesadilla and Pork Belly Tacos. They have a super interesting set of cocktails as well. Give it a go!

Have lived in the neighbourhood a while and have been meaning to visit this place. I went on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and their were plenty of tables available. I got a Bloody Mary they offered with vodka or tequila; it was super spicy but really delicious! We got chips and guacamole to start. The chips were not fried fresh as they came cold, but as the guacamole was a stand out it didn’t matter. We got one big plate which was the enchiladas, they were really interesting but I found the amount of salsa verde a bit sickly. The baja fish tacos were amazing. The server recommended getting something in addition to them but I was stuffed. They had so much fish in them and the toppings were so fresh. Overall, great experience and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.

Tasty but could do with a menu redesign with photos of what each dish looks like as we didn't understand the dishes in the menu. Cocktails were fabulous. The interior is lovely and cosy. Staff are friendly.

Have tried this place on lockdown with deliveroo, wasn’t really happy with it. Decided to give another chance to this place! We had no booking and were advised for an available seats. When I said what drink I want I was told that it’s unavailable, fine, choose a different one which I didn’t enjoy. Drinks list has lots of NON agave spirit cocktails… they advertise tequila and mezcal and have such a small cocktail list with it. Even no margs in the menu, I hope they can do it upon request - While choosing dishes-one of the dish we wanted wasn’t available! Again. - For service, I guess staff should notify guests with unavailable items for saving everyone’s time! Food: Ceviche- 4 tiny pieces of seabass, 2 prawns cut in half. £12… really?? Sauce was so delish, but amount of fish-shame! Overpriced 100% Baja Fish taco- missing flavours, deep fried fish tasted so greasy, on the tacos I had two large pieces of just a fried batter?!?!?!Fish was bland…no seasoning at all, only spicy mayo had a taste. Third dish was a deep fried tortilla rolled with oversalted mash potato… while in the menu says baby potatoes… So - For food. Very disappointed, very overpriced. Will not come back and recommend. Sorry.

Must try for excellent, authentic key Mexican food. Great cocktails and service. Thank you, Celene, for suggesting all the right dishes to get.

Made a reservation but the system only allowed for 6:15 and 8:00pm slots - would have loved the flexibility to pop by somewhere between that time, especially considering how empty it was on a week night. The quesadillas were delicious - we had the beef and chorizo ones. The pulled pork taco was also amazing but I wasn’t a fan of the corn tortillas, they tasted overly fragrant and the texture didn’t agree with me. The desserts looked really good but I was stuffed after eating two dishes, so will be back to try them soon!

I’m a Texan who has lived in London for 4 years. It’s difficult to find good quality, flavorful Mexican food and a stiff spicy margarita with ambience, 1910 has it all. My new favorite spot!

Lovely restaurant with efficient and friendly service. The tacos were incredibly flavoursome and filling.

Came here on a Monday night, and the atmosphere was great and didn't feel like Monday at all. The food is great, the Birria tacos are to die for, and the crispy fried avocado ones were amazing, something really different. Our cocktails were really good too, and despite not being on the menu the staff were kind enough to make a really authentic michelada. Will definitely be back.

One of the best restaurant meals I’ve had for a long time and definitely THE BEST Mexican food I HAVE EVER HAD. I can’t recommend this place enough, everything about it was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the employees, the food. Highly recommend getting their tortilla chips, home made guacamole, the ceviche and the prawn tacos. I enjoyed every bit of my visit, and will be telling everyone I know about this little gem!
