Nidderdale Llamas

Great place. The Alpacas and Llamas are amazingly brought up and are loved and cared for they are very calm and soothing and you will become best friends with them instantly. Good fun and a fantastic day out with a fellow fury friend.

Brilliant day out with my mum and niece. We have never met Llamas or Alpacas before but been fascinated since seeing guard Llamas in local farmers fields. The animals were beautiful and had lovely temperament and personality, nobody got spat at - apparently it rarely happens! The staff are superb, very knowledgeable about the different breeds and types of Camelids as well as husbandry and the fibre they produce when sheared. They are obviously very dedicated animal lovers, the staff we met knew not just the names but the personalities of every Llama & Alpaca and the small animals too. Would definitely recommend to anybody and will be booking again in the future. Thank you Nidderdale Llamas !!!

I initially thought this listing was fake, who would have thought llamas were around in the Yorkshire Dales? A small group of us went for a 2 hour walk and were blown away by the knowledge and friendliness of Suzanne who accompanied us on our walk. I can honestly say I learned more about llamas than I ever thought I would and had a lot of fun in the process.

This place is absolutely amazing. We did the camelid experience today and loved every minute of it. I wish I had booked the whole day. We so didn't want to leave the beautiful Llamas and Alpacas. They have beautiful loving animals and lovely staff, tremendous views and are highly organized and make you feel immediately at ease when walking through the door. All I can say is that we can't wait to come back! So glad we have found this gem so close to home and hope to visit often and become part of the Llama Alpaca family!
