Nidderdale AONB

Studly royal is quite scenic with nice landscaped gardens and lakes. Our visit would have been nicer without the 2c temp and incessant sleet. This made eye tea room very welcome.

It was very peaceful today. They have changed to summer opening times, so open till 6pm. By 5.15, we were practically alone and it was very nice to walk round the gardens without seeing another person! The grounds are very well maintained. It's a very pleasant area to walk in.

Nidderdale is an amazing place. The views at certain points are just amazing and it's great exercise too. There are such a variety of walks all of which are really easy to find on either a phone or a map, so it's really worth a visit.

Spent the day at national trust fountains Abbey this is a ruin but is used by many who enjoy walking. Has gift shops and tea rooms at both ends. We'll worth a visit

Stunning part of North Yorkshire for views and walks. Great for everyone and accessible. Surprised it is not part of the national park of the Dales. Great pubs along the way.
