I’ve shopped at next for my family and I for 30 years. unfortunately the city one where I work shut due to covid now I go to this local Loughton branch. I hold my breath every time I go in there. That are soo unhelpful and rude. Today I asked for help and kept getting naaa can’t get that three times. My daughter was getting angry and we walked out and ordered all 3 items that they said they didn’t even sell in the sizes we wanted on line in the car park.nReally upset about Loughton nextnWhy are the ladies so mean in there ?nI really don’t even want to pick up from there anymore unfortunately

Very poor r4 c1st managers & some staff.nLook how they gathered to criticise customer in pic attached. Made a formal complaint over r4 c1st treatment by managers and staff and to shut me up HQ sent £100.. pathetic

Today I visited the Next store in Loughton and had an incredibly unpleasant experience. While browsing, I noticed a nice sweater with a visible mark/stain on the sleeve. I inquired about a replacement, but the lady at the till informed me they didn't have another.nnWhen I asked if they could provide a discount, a rude lady, whom I assume was the manager/supervisor, appeared. She aggressively instructed the till lady to close the bell and proceeded to dismiss my request, claiming she couldn't see any issue and she’s not giving me any money. Although the mark wasn't prominent in the till light, her arrogant attitude was unwarranted.nnI didn't request a refund, merely inquired about a discount, considering the circumstance. I was thinking of buying it even without a discount . The manager's lack of professionalism and outright rudeness made me reconsider my purchase. Despite the till lady's politeness and apology, the manager's behavior was unacceptable. It seems she could benefit from additional customer service training, as the staff demonstrated a better understanding of how to treat customers. I won't be spending my money at this store, especially given the manager's attitude.

What a stinky shop. I walked in the door, got hit by the overpowering smell of coffee and food and walked out again. The clothes must absolutely reek of the smell.nNo thank you. I won't be back.

So after reading the reviews it’s clear I’m not the only one who experienced poor customer service from this store. The young girls at the til and general floor are not helpful at all. I spent half hour choosing my daughters clothes to go to the til to he served by a young girl named Lilly. As soon as I approached the til I overheard her gossiping about customers with her friend. This is really rude and poor behaviour as well as unprofessional. I bought £92.10 worth of shopping and when I paid she refused to accept my money because one of the £10 notes was Scottish. Scottish notes are legal tender in the United Kingdom. Unless they are fake a store cannot refuse them. I was so annoyed with the poor service I felt like a criminal trying to pay for my daughters clothes with my hard earned money. I would avoid this store the service is terrible I think the area manager needs to step in and have a staff audit
