At 12.30 on 10.04.24 I went to the counter to buy a bus ticket as I didn't have any cash to purchase one on the bus. The lady behind the counter which has a ticket machine at it and a card reader told me I couldn't buy tickets from her and instead gave me directions to a cash machine?nnI later asked the driver of the bus if it was possible and he confirmed that yes, she was either incompetent, unwilling or uncapable of doing her job.nnInteresting.
In terms of services, this bus centre is decent. Nothing special, the buses arrive usually on time and you can travel from A to B efficiently. However, there is a fatal flaw. The cleanliness. The filth of this place brings my review from a possible 4* to a 2*. I would expect better conditions in Dante's Inferno than here. One afternoon i was travelling and i noticed a damp stain on the seats, beneath an array of a mysterious and previously unknown bits. The stain in question happened to be a large puddle of sick that festered in the seats. Upon further inspection, i'd figured that the sick had been there for at least 30 minutes. No signs, no markers, nothing. Revolting. In general, the seats and buses are caked in dirt and unrecognisable filth. If you have any health issues, i would not recommend travelling with this centre.

Very easy and simple to get a bus, you can walk from the bus station to every where cause is located in the very downtown of newry
Nice little bus station, use it for trips t Belfast & Dublin.
