I've been a patient with this practice for many years and was surprised to see so many negative reviews here. I have visited the practice many times over the years although I have never suffered a serious illness. My treatment as a patient has always been good. I recently had several appointments in person and by phone and I was very pleased by the promptness of my treatment. Because I'm a rather anxious person, the GP phoned me at home immediately my results were know. That small kindness meant a lot to me. I have also been happy with the provision of services like vaccination.
Physiotherapist is not helpful in the slightest, literally only ever advises basic stretches and doesn't even recommend how many times per day to perform the stretches/exercises; how many reps and sets to perform the stretches/exercises for them to be effective makes little effort to be helpful or informative, would not recommend booking in and would suggest going private to avoid having your time wasted.
Useless ignorant aloof self important arrogant staff from reception to manager and partners with a few exceptions. No triage of calls, you decide if it's urgent. No triage of non urgent calls whether it's a broken nail, hearing loss, headache or ulceration etc. Never take on board patients thoughts or suggestions, they have a patient liaison group which meets 4x year on Teams. You have to be approved and have internet and video conferencing facilities.
Receptionist are rude and unfriendly, so are the nurses and doctors. The amount of times I call and never get through is ridiculous, and when I do get through for an appointment it could be a months wait or more. I've been insulted in person about my mental health and my weight from doctors and at this point I'm surprised that this place is still open and running.
Extremely rude staff especially the nurses and doctors. Instead of answering any query they keep on repeating same statement again and again. Got hemorrhoids doctors instead of viewing me physically kept on giving me few medicines for 7 months on call. Until the situation gets worsen and I become totally unable to sit and appetite lost completely.
I'm an international student. I am trying to get an appointment from the last 3 days. They picked up the call and told me the next appointment is 11th of June and telephonic. I have lumps on either side of the ear and in severe pain. We students pay a premium of more than 1000 pounds every year for our medical and get zero help when needed. Absolutely shambles.
Absolutely appalling service and customer care constantly applying for repeat fit notes for an ongoing problem takes what feels like several hundred calls to get through. No customer care whatsoever asked to go to surgery to provide documentation arrived person I spoke to on lunch. Told will be called when sorted no return call. After several attempts to get through again no update on file had to explain situation again put on hold….. after waiting was told doctor not in medical center today best part is not even my doctor your a disgrace my advice to anyone avoid at all costs 0 customer care 0 after service rude reception staff and incompetent medical professionals
Receptionist helpful and kind. Dr. thorough, empathetic and covered everything l asked and more. Bloods etc done by the gentlest staff member. The staff have a difficult job but l found them really lovely, thank you, you are all very much appreciated
Rang to make a doctor’s appointment from 8.00 this morning. After over 200 attempts to get through, I was informed at 8.47, they were no appointments left for today. I could however make an appointment for 2 weeks time. No wonder people are using A&E incorrectly! Not sure why I had to give one star before I could post, but I suppose they did offer an appointment.
The attitude of the reception staff is absolutely disgusting. Impossible to get an appointment unless you book 3 weeks ahead of your illness and even then that's after being on hold for an hour before getting through. The reception staff are like bulldogs. They seem to have forgotten their duty of care.
