We fancied a Chinese and wanted to try somewhere different, living in a village very few deliver to us so we decided to try New Rays, they didn't disappoint the meal was £15 less than our normal takeaway. That's a bonus Food was delicious Food: 5/5

Further to my previous post concerning getting chilli chicken instead of chilli chips , you replied saying that you had offered a credit to us the next time we visit . As we are not local this was unacceptable so we suggested that we could call in on our way home for a cash refund  we had paid cash  . At this point you changed your tune and said it was our fault the order was wrong and no refund could be given ! Obviously our recollections differ on this one !!!  Vegetarian options: Chilli chips would have been nice !

Quite disappointed in new rays tonight. I called and made my order for collection we made 2 orders as had family around. I get to New rays to pay and collect for my order and they couldn't find my order? The guy working there said he remembered me ordering but couldn't find it. I didn't even get an apology they didn't seem bothered. Most take aways would say I tell you what give us 10 mins we will sort your order out. They were quite rude to be honest. Is ashame we have used them for years and have always recommended them. I think after what happened tonight we will be finding a new Chinese.  As for a response to your reply it was a genuine experience so dont lie. I have since checked the call log from the phone I rang you from and surprisingly it's your number. So basically you took my order and lost it. The guy who took my order even remembered talking to me on the phone. I was in your shop for around 15 mins which was plenty of time for you to resolve this you didn't seem bothered. I had already waited for over an hour for collection to be told you couldn't find my order that you lost. After waiting in the shop nothing was resolved so I walked out. This is shocking how you treat a loyal customer of 7 years. I won't be returning to your shop after this. I will not recommend you to anyone after this experience and I've recommended you to alot of people. Good day
