Best Chinese takeaway in the Bay.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! We have eaten from this Chinese takeaway several times over the past 20 years, where it traded under the name of Yau's before its current name. Tonight, a really cold wet night, my husband ordered us a meal and drove down to collect it. I was putting it out when I realised that the curry sauce was missing. My husband rang and Christine who runs it admitted that the chef forgot to put it in! My husband went out in the rain again and drove back to collect it! The 10 mins it took him to do this meant our meal was getting cold. When we eventually sat down and began to eat our like warm meal, the hard, over cooked chips nearly broke our teeth!!! Enough was enough, so I rang and told Christine that I was very unhappy with our meal. She was adamant in her offer to give us free chips with our next order!!! Unbelievable is all I can say, I was extremely shocked that she did not offer a full meal replacement as would be expected! I don't have a business of my own, but I am pretty sure that with all of today's competitors in the market, I would be making sure that I was fair to all customers, especially ones who have been with me for 20 years! Obviously, we will never order from them again, and will tell all our friends and family to stay well clear!

New life Chinese is disgusting, the shop is falling to bits, unhygienic and all around dirty.. The lady behind the counter is rude, obnoxious and damn right cheeky. She needs a good right hook.. The food is even worse would never order from here again, full of grease, wrong order, asked for it to be changed and she flew off the handle, shouting and swearing down the phone.. Oh and they have rats too.. Good luck to all who eat here
