The food was fantastic, until we found a hair in the noodles. Basic hygiene measures like hair nets would have prevented this, and I would have been able to give a much higher rating. Based on other reviews, this is obviously an issue which needs correcting.
Unfortunately just had a takeaway from here and it was one of the worst I've ever had. The chicken curry was just passable, nice curry sauce but quite questionable pieces of chcken. Cheap and greasy meat. The special fried rice was virtually inedible. No rice and scraggy pieces of unidentifiable meat which neither of us were prepared to investigate too much. Not cheap either. Avoid at all costs. Shocking
Had our first New Golden Horse experience tonight. And it was lovely!!lovely flavoured food and polite friendly efficient service! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!
Just had a Chinese from here. Salt and pepper chicken very rubbery and dry. Worst thing finding a hair in the sweet and sour chicken. Unfortunately made it inedible. Complete waste of money.
Had food delivered was absolutely gorgeous presented well it was hot and delivered by a lovely lady thank you new golden horse we really enjoyed our meal!
Twice now I've asked for vegan noodles which they said was fine and twice they've had pork, chicken and prawns in them. If I had an allergy I'd be on my way to the hospital instead of writing this. Makes me wonder if they really know what they're putting in their food... definitely way too much salt for one. DISGUSTING AVOID AT ALL COSTS. And as you can see from their reply, they're also compulsive liars. I have selected the correct take away. On the phone they said these were vegan and now they're saying they don't even do these noodles. Oh look, 172 vegetable Singapore noodles.
Best Chinese food I've had from a takeaway still hasn't been beaten lovely food
ordered form this chinese last night, food was great and the girl being very patient while i asking question about all the dishes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Spent ages trying to ring up for takeaway when they were supposed to be open. Place was all dark when I passed by later if closed because of staff sickness then why can't they at least put a sign on the door and leave a msg on the phone to let people know Really don't deserve any customers
I ordered egg fried rice with shrimp. Every shrimp was full of grissle or just fatty. Not one was edible. My misses asked for a dry special chow mein u gave her one with bbq sauce. All of our order was so horrible no one ate it. I reccomend the top one and would never go to this one again after last night
