Resonable wait and carvery was nice. Staff were friendly and lunch meal was nice and not too busy for time of week. Could do more for kids although they have small reading corner. Views are ok and they have some nice outdoor seating with a decent sized car park and can accommodate quite a lot of people. Toilets a bit restricted in size
Very quiet unusually. Staff very pleasant. I have to say that the roast beef was a bit dried up looking but after a dose of gravy it turned out to be very tasty indeed. Great place to go if you are hungry due to the unlimited veg. Good selection of need and beers although I was on alcohol free cider.
I've been to this place multiple times and I honestly cannot fault them. The carvery is excellent and was something of a Friday ritual with the family at one point. Good atmosphere and friendly staff too. There is a very nice selection of desserts and I believe the festive menu is quite well priced for the time of year. Would suggest the bottomless ice cream if they still serve it ;
New farm carvery is OK overall. The food is good, on a few occasions the meats can have tried out of they have been sitting too long. Good choice in veg. Desserts are great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities need to be checked for cleanliness and breakages though as been in ladies to find handles broken and toilets blocked. Maybe due to low staff numbers
Fabulous price, great meal, friendly helpful staff can't fault it. Warm friendly welcoming environment. We got there and it was busy but by the time we ordered it was bustling sure sign it was going to really good. I had the carvery excellently priced cleaned my plate. Highly recommend hence 5 stars
Been here numerous times over the years but i would say that most recently Jan 2018 the food has improved dramatically. Potatoes and chips were not chewy and dry as they use to be. All three joints good really well, genuinely couldn't ask for more where that's concernend. As always great value money and child friendly, in the summer the beer garden is a major advantage on other eateries.
Great food as always. Great carvery with plenty of options available if carvery is not what you are fancying. We come here quite frequently and haven't had a bad meal. And we are looking forward to our next family gathering
Had not visited in a while and since then they are No longer selling carvery, staff are also very rude as our order came and was wrong. The waitress then continued to argued aggressively with my gran at the table that the order was correct. Overall has went down hill
The absolute worst restaurant i have ever been to in my life. All dishes lack any form of seasoning, the mash potatoes are atrocious, the meat is dry and the vegetables are just foul tasting. I had the soup also and i can honestly say it tasted like boiled dishwater, if you've seen Ramsay's kitchen nightmares then this is exactly like something off of there. Absolutely disgusting.
Carvery hasnt been on the last 2 times we have attempted to go which is strange as thats what they are known for. The alternative menu is cheap but they dont seem to have a few things which are listed. Food quality isnt great but didnt expect much for the price. Disappointing. Wont be back and I would be surprised if they are open much longer at this rate.
