A racist institution that discriminates against his own students. I would recommend any parents to do not let any of their children getting to any meetings with management from this institution. They have very dangerous biases against the larger community on the whole, they treat people with contempt and scorn. The Management from this institution is more interested in protecting their own careers than protecting students safety. Hiding their incompetence using bureaucratic snake oil. I went to this institution on the same year when Ofsted gave them a could improve, they did not see the half of what went on. An educational institution is not just about how good are the classrooms but how they treat their students, whether with mutual respect or contempt. I've had teachers directly tell me about the pressure they are under and then they pass that pressure onto the students because they're talking about funding. I think this is a completely inappropriate. From using campus security as their own personal enforcers and threatening defamation when you make legitimate complaint. I've had staff members say extremely inappropriate and discriminative things towards myself while I was a student. This campus will be closed by 2020 anyway I hope none of the staff members that contributed to me leaving in protest will stay on in any form, particularly stay away if you suffer from any mental health issue they discriminate against that the hardest. While I was in a meeting with one of the management from the institution she decided to out one of my fellow students mental health status, not only does this break the Equality Act 2010 this is highly unethical! I was personally discriminated against by the management of this institution because of mental health. The management of this institution is completely unqualified to deal with people with mental health issues or learning disabilities and has very dangerous biased against black males students something that British colleges have a bad history with. I suffered an anxiety attack the following day I was sent a disciplinary letter! When I told them I had an anxiety attack they told me I was told I "overreacted" and it was "disproportionate" Now, would you trust these people with your 16 year old son or daughter considering they try and give medical opinions to suit their own cognitive biases? And they're not medically qualified, and if they do, this could leave them open to a lawsuit if they admit that are wrong. There's not one medical doctorate at the institution. My doctor told me I had a panic attack, you know someone is actually medically qualified to tell me. This attitude is going to lead towards disaster! The head of the new College recently said in a Evening Post interview that not all people can be Premier League football stars, I think you should be looking closer at to home because not all people in your institution are capable of doing their jobs! I came back as a mature student and was failed yet again, but to know that these people are failing a new new-generation with the bad attitude of a bad leader behind it it's heartbreaking. You have failed our city and you have failed our youth, shame on you! I was threatened with defamation court case when I to complain about staff members from this institution this is my public statement and I want you to sue me! Because this will be made public. You're not a progressive service for the community that allows all to come in and be treated equally Your bunch of self-serving bureaucrats who are bigoted I want to pass on their own negative behaviour two others while pretending to be enlightened, I can't wait until they tear the building down! I would give it zero stars but lowest give it is one.

I tried to sign up for a EAT course at NCN Clarendon as a very mature student and for a number of reasons I got the distinct impression that they were not being helpful in the slightest, but the main reason for my review is that they wanted proof of my CSE results from exams that I had taken almost 35 years ago at a school that is no longer a comprehensive from an exam board that no longer exist. Effectively they were asking for the impossible and although I offered to do an entrance exam to allow me entry onto the course and explained that I have ample vocational qualifications within my profession including an National Diploma they refused. How disappointing must it be for any mature student who is trying for example to improve their job prospects or their opportunities in life, and I sincerely hope that the governing bodies or grant contributors to NCN are monitoring how and why students are accepted and the grounds on which they are refused. Particularly as I was actually paying in full for the course, I wasn't getting it for free due to not being in receipt of any benefits. I was left with the clear impression that older students are not wanted. Fortunately after putting the phone down to NCN all of the next 3 smaller training providers I contacted, accepted me over the phone there and then, exemplifying the phrase that " every cloud has a silver lining "....

I'm a second year student. When I first came here to study my course was brand new and while that made it difficult since we were the guinea pigs, so to speak, I really enjoyed and thrived in the challenge. The staff are very friendly and approachable, clearly caring a lot for those under their care. The staff in Media, Administration, Student Finance and Student Learning Support are also very helpful and friendly, making them easy to talk to and approach with issues. My class in particular was very diverse with a range of interesting and inspirational people. The two years I spent here did have their high and low points but I feel like I have learned a lot and gained a strong sense of freedom and self I definitely didn't have before.
