There is a list of reasons this place is lovely! #1 Dog friendly to the fullest #2 clean friendly staff all around great service with a warm welcome and a smile #3 right near the beach #4 clean bathroom that you can use all day even if you don't make a purchase #5 great food cold drinks #6 kids playground and sand volleyball! My husband and I drive over 2 hours and this is our first stop everytime we come this way. The staff has been wonderful each and every time! The locals are friendly so it ends up being a great start and sometimes end to great holidays away!!!!!!

Great friendly family run pub with good food and great value. Very interesting 1950's building..they have an interesting file on its history behind the bar if you ask.

Traditional fish chips & mushy peas ordered, the homemade tartar sauce was lovely, large serving and cooked beautifully, very pleasant staff, nice comfortable friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices... no airs or graces.....

We stayed here at the weekend in our motor home along with friends, we found the staff very friendly, accomadating, and the food and service was excellent, loved the special on vodkas never had so many slept like a log, dog friendly and a beautiful beach will be visiting this britstop again
