Beautiful Place Set In Scenic Gardens. Grand Entrance Leads Into Bar & Restaurant. The Sunday Carvery Was One Of The Best I've Ever Had. DEFINITELY Going Again.
Very good, just what a carvery should be! A good selection of delicious meats, or veggie options, plus a great selection of sides and deserts. Was pretty busy when we went, which is a sign that it's pretty good! Also good staff service. Also recommend the Racecourse outside norwich, which I believe is part of the same group.Food: 5/5
Nice place but the food was not worth over £10. The turkey and potatoes were over cooked, with the potatoes being tough and the broccoli was undercooked, barely even steamed. The coke wasn’t good either very warm. The queue took 30 minutes, reminding me of the lunch queue at school. I wasn’t impressed because every Sunday roast I have had out has been better than a home meal which is already good; this was below average. The food was edible, but just not at a good standard for eating out. The staff however were very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely amazing time, we come whenever we are up this way for holiday, since we first discovered it, we choose this lovely establishment for our family meal. No problems catering for an impromptu table of 11, excellent guidance and assistance, no matter what the query. Matthew, Alice and Callum were all superstars in making our evening as special as could be, and the gentleman carving our roast, was upbeat, cheerful, very friendly and professional. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming again. Will probably come on my own when I'm this way for work again too. Very reasonable prices. Kid-friendliness: Several play areas. Good selection of kids meals Parking: Medium sized car park. Dietary restrictions: Son has a cows milk allergy, was surprised to find out just how many things he could have that we thought he wouldn't be able to.
Went with my husband, niece and husband had a lovely carvery, had to wait a while for food ordered from the menu but it was a Saturday evening and very busy. Staff were lovely and helpful. Very clean and well presented place. Definitely coming back.Food: 5/5
We have visited here many times this year as they offer great choice and value. However each visit has had the same problem. The dessert menu doesn't reflect what they have in stock. Naturally there were supply issues earlier this year. But when we have been told in the past they haven't had bananas to make a sundae, or toppings for desserts when there is a supermarket literally across the road. Today 4 November 2022 of the 5 choices of dessert we considered only 1 was available. I feel they should replace the printed menu with an option to show desserts of the day. Still a good place to visit, but the dessert issue is irritating.
Had the carvery meat was beautiful, roast potatoes could have done with being cooked a bit longer. Chef was great, full of chat and was very polite even though was a long que he was working very quick. Will be backFood: 5/5
We had a new years eve carvery which was very good, as sometimes they can be dried out, but this was really good with plenty of choice i forgot to take a picture. Nice friendly staff and reasonable atmosphere. Cant comment on the puddingsFood: 4/5
They made a mistake with my order and couldn't refund me the same way I paid paid card but refunded in cash. Food was great as it always is and the play area member of staff was very polite.Food: 5/5
A great place - the food was good and well priced but they need congratulating for the staff - all were very friendly and extremely attentive, really refreshing- thanks!
