Stayed here back end of 2017, This is a great, tranquil site. Fantastic location for dog walking along canal, trips into Chester and the 2 local pubs for eating out at night. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

Nice site the owners have not been there long so understand there is some improvements to the toilet facilities required which they have applied for planning permission for steady walk into Chester about 40 mins on the tow path and a smashing pub 3 mins away park and ride 5 mins away really pleasant owners who could not do enough and made sure everything was clean and working would go again hopefully they will have a new toilet block next time but it did take anything away from our enjoyment of the site and area

This was our first visit in this neck of the woods and what a surprise. The campsite is such a beautiful setting with  rural charm. Unlike so many campsites where you are crammed in Netherwood has lots of green space and play areas for the children. The toilets and showers spotless and everything kept tidy. An added advantage was walking distance to local shops and pubs and buses into town. The new owners made you feel very welcome nothing a bother. We will definately be back! Soon we hope

Couldn't be better placed for a visit to Chester. Our favourite was to walk out the back of the site direct onto the canal & a wonderful peaceful walk into the city.
New owners have greatly improved the facilities & it remains a haven of peace.
Can't wait for our next visit! We are intending to have a pizza delivered next time we go.

This certainly is a hidden gem!!  We had such a relaxing stay and the new owners were very welcoming whilst obviously working hard with upgrading and new ideas for the park.
The existing toilet and shower facilities though few were kept very clean and comfortable. I know that James and Michelle have prioritised more new facilities for the near future.
We had a short tranquil walk along the canal to the bus stop for Chester and local amenities. A bicycle would have been a bonus with a cycle path right into Chester and only 2 miles. You certainly could ditch the car for a while.
We will most definitely be visiting again.
