Today we went specially to nearby Ness Gardens to buy a takeaway pananini. We both had tuna and cheese, a delicious combination. We also had coffee and walnut cake making a lovely lunch. We come often to walk in this beautiful garden and we used to lunch in the cafe but now cafe is closed. I will recommend the takeaway lunches.
Peaceful walks inside tranquil surroundings; even in winter. Plenty of room to socially distance in these very odd times. Directional signs to the exit would be better than just "No Exit" - hint.
What a lovely place! We had a wonderful day walking around and enjoying the beauty of nature
Fantastic. Not cheap to get in, but once you get there, you'll see it's worth every penny. Well cared and varied. Perfect for picnic.
Superb day out today at Ness Botanical Gardens. Gorgeous views, interesting and diverse gardens including Rock Garden, wildlife, colours, plenty of benches, picnic area, well maintained, good parking, interesting gift shop. 2020/21 Gardeners World '2 for 1' card currently accepted, which is a boon.
Beautiful day out-so peaceful. Lovely lunch in cafe-all Covid policies well thought out & implemented.
Lovely walk around the ground, hardly anyone there so very safe. Excellent system for entry but we bought our entry online and printed the ticket
Lovely day at the end of summer. Gardens as beautiful as ever. Lots of lovely seed heads on the flowers for next year, beautiful butterflies, dragon flies, bees and other insects to enjoy busy with their hard work pollinating. Such a peaceful afternoon. Makes you feel glad to be alive.
Quite simply, sublime - a great place to come for some piece and quiet when the missus and kids are driving me potty!
