Fish isnt fresh to order and ends up being a soggy mess. Poor portion size too, a large chips isn’t even a full large carton! Chips wernt the best either. Honestly i’d avoid and pick another option in Runcorn
Robbers I ordered a family meal and it never turned up. Paid though the bank. I phoned up they made excuses. I never got a refund just laughed at. Avoid this place!!! I certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Just bought chips out of Neptune £2.20 for half of portion didn't even fill the tray The chips were obviously from last night. Used to be a good chippy now the quality as dropped , won't be eating there again
Hard chips, watery mushy peas and a steak and kidney pudding like nothing I have ever witnessed before. Minced bits of sloppy meat, no sauce steak or kidney with an added bonus of hair. Photo attached. Vile.
I member back in may I went to this chippy and the man charged me £2.20 when I wanted to pay £1.80 for chips and he got funny with me, how disgusting on that he never apologised for ripping me off and this is a 2nd time I visited and back in 2016 the woman was snotty with me for no reason whatsoever and I will never be returning back ever again!
First class food and traditional fish and chips as well as other meals freshly cooked
Friendly staff and the fish strips are lovely , can't fault, staff are so nice. I work next door and they deliver it too me if I'm too busy and they never moan about it and always have a smile and it makes my day and my shift. Thank you Neptune
Delivered an hour after the estimated time of arrival, i rung to see where it was only to be told it was on its way literally 25 minutes later it arrived, when it arrived the food was Cold and mushy will not be coming here again
Lovely people superb food...i was surprised one time i not visit for several weeks and ask for salada and the lovely lady remember last time i asked for Olive oil for dress... melted my heart because I was very poorly this day... SUCCESS
Had a great meal here. Cod,chips,mushy peas, curry sauce and a pot of tea. All served nice and hot by really friendly staff. You can choose either mild or hot curry sauce but there's not much difference to be honest. A great way to end a lovely afternoon after watching "Everybody's Talking About Jamie" at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. They also offer fried chicken, kebabs, pies, scampi, and jacket potatoes as well as fish and chips. Prices to eat in are reasonable not much difference to their takeaway menu. I will be back again!
