Always such long wait times. I have had wait times of an hour before, but if you are even a minute late they will refuse to see you. Receptionist is extremely rude, nurses don’t even listen to your concerns, I have come back with the same issues multiple times and all they do is throw medication at the problem. Pretty rubbish.
My daughter in law took her 12 week old baby to see the doctor for an emergency as it’s a hub . But DR Nicholson said as she is not registered here he would not see her. How poor is his service.
The Nene Valley Surgery is great. They are well organised, have great doctors, receptionists and an onsite pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Your website states that urgent appointments can be requested via the appointment request form from Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 1:30pm, and that these requests will be triaged the same day by your most senior clinicians.nnI submitted a request due to severe asthma symptoms and what appears to be a chest infection. However, I was given an appointment for next Wednesday—a full week away. I had to call instead, only to be told there were no appointments available today, but I could be seen in Rushden tomorrow.nnI’m struggling to understand how this triage process, allegedly overseen by your most senior clinicians, resulted in such a delayed response to what is clearly an urgent respiratory issue. The system, as it currently functions, has failed me when I needed timely care the most
Went for a blood test and said have to come back tomorrow for a flu jab, nurse says I can do that for you to save you coming back. Brilliant service, lovely nurses and reception is so helpful and friendly considering the pressure they are under. Cannot fault the Doctors either. Would certainly recommend the practice.
