Thank you to Jo that I spoke to from reception today. I am a carrer for both my parents aswell as bringing up my own. Sometimes things get hard, she was lovely and so understanding when helping me sort out my Mums bloods ectnnKindness is all we need when we're a little overwhelmed.
I often read bad reports about the service at Nene Valley Surgery,nhowever, I would like to congratulate the receptionist who helped me on Friday regarding how to set up and use the ANIMA App. She took time to help me set it up and explained its functions, which were greatly appreciated. Thank you Tracy.
Update 5.09.2024. Received an email I need to see a nurse for asthma update. Tried calling. Number 1 in the queue. Now 8mins in and my life is wasting away listening to their hold music. Can't make it up. I've had to book myself in for a blood test for a review that is long overdue as well - what are the chances they will follow it up? I ask in all openness - how do we fix this? Giving up now.nnUpdate 28.05.2024. Still waiting on the promised call back. I am not hopeful...nnUpdate 12.03.2024. Still not received a call. Given up. Phone lines are not answered, gave up after 17-mins on hold, told that I was number 1 in the queue at the start. Even the recorded message starts with call 999 if urgent. Sad. Off to Urgent Care or A&E the only options realistically. And this is after being promised a call from the surgery by 111 yesterday at 1530 - the call within an hour. No call at all, I am calling them. Disgrace. Used to be great but recently this has turned into a failed surgery.
The GP surgery gets a lot of grief because of lack of appointments, however when I rang about a lump in my neck they got me an appointment the same day and organised the next steps required really quickly.
