I have been visiting Hermitage House Care Home giving physiotherapy rehabilitation to to residents and getting them up on their feet again since it was opened. A truly caring and welcoming home.nHermitage House Care Home provides exceptional standard of care, and my experience with the team has been consistently positive. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to the well-being of the residents. You can feel the sense of community as soon as you walk through the door, residents are engaged, supported, and treated with real dignity. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully organized, creating a safe and homely environment. What stands out is the personalized approach. The staff clearly know each resident as an individual, and the activities offered are meaningful and inclusive. It is reassuring to see residents smiling, participating, and feeling valued. Hermitage House is a place where people are not just looked after, they are cared for. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and compassionate home for their loved one.
I have been involved with Hermitage House through the school where I work. They have been welcoming to groups of children coming to visit residents, reading with them and singing with them. The care home has also visited school to enhance our history lessons and also to celebrate events with us. This has been invaluable from both sides benefiting from such links.nThe staff have always been welcoming and professional supporting their residents while also appreciating the children.
Hermitage House provided a truly lovely setting for our meetings. The room was well-presented, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. What really stood out, however, was the exceptionally polite and attentive team, who made everything run smoothly from start to finish. Their professionalism and warm approach created a very welcoming atmosphere. We would highly recommend Hermitage House and look forward to returning in the future.

Visited today to use the private dining room for a meeting, wow! Such a lovely environment, it's calm, comfortable & classy, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit
