I was there yesterday unfortunately for some issues I was having and they are really amazing. It is a long wait but there's a lot of people. The staff was exceptional, especially the last nurse I spoke to, really seem like they care, proud to have this place as my local A&E.
No GP appointment available, so called 111 who said to go to Corby Urgent care within 2 hrs. After 3 hrs waiting there the doctor referred to Kettering children’s A&E.n5 stars are for the team on shift on Wednesday 6th November who were amazing! It was incredibly busy and we were there into the early hours but every nurse, doctor we saw were so kind and caring. They remained calm and professional throughout our time there. My son was given the best care- CT scan, ECG, blood pressure, blood sugar checks to try and discover what was causing the continual headaches. Although he is still unwell and being looked after by the Kettering PAU we cannot fault the lovely team that took care of him that night. THANK YOU all
My brother with mental health issues has been sat in A&E waiting room for nearly 24 hours no bed not able to sleep and no food or drink given - beyond words just barbaric !!!!!
Yes it was a long time but during that time medical staff were running blood tests, CT scans and other investigations. At all times, under immense pressure, staff were professional and caring whilst executing their jobs. So impressed and grateful!
Children’s A&E….been waiting 4+ hours for my baby to be seen after been taken by paramedics. Then asked reception how much longer and then told ANOTHER 3-4 hour wait just to see someone! Whilst nurses were laughing and messing about at the care station. Appalling care.
