Really enjoyed this Jackie and Hyde pub. During the day a quiet sophisticated pub serving pies and mash. Then at 5pm the bouncer comes on and the madness begins. Pie and mash I had two and they get an 8/10. Ask for extra mash portions are not huge. No coffee on offer either. All in all a good experience and would go back
Fun, quirky places that doesn’t match all the photos I see on this Google business page so that’s confusing. Take extra note of all the things adorning the walls, it has some great pieces. The selection of drinks and food are smart- thoughtful of the area the pub is located in. The toilets are an adventure, don’t lose your head.
I've always really enjoyed this little pub. It's had some changes and refurbs over the years but has retained character and a homely feel. Friendly staff, three cask ales on my last visit, and nice wines too. It's a fun place to go with friends, a partner, or just to chill out on your own with a book or newspaper.Service: 5/5
Was here for a few drinks with my mates Lovely Door Man Jay at the Bar was friendly, welcoming, kind & funny. Famous Bloke as many people around knew him. Will definitely visit again.Service: 5/5
Lovely venue and atmosphere. Jay, in particular, was very accommodating and welcoming. My husband and I came from Bath and Jay went out of his way to ensure we had a great night. We will most definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Extremely rude little door man and manager. Used to enjoy going here but will not be returning. Reading the other reviews, it looks like I’m not the only one to endure this door man’s power trip and awful experience. If you are looking to get a drink in soho, I suggest one of the other pubs in the area, which have better toilets, can achieve basic hygiene and better service.
Great bar, we ordered a glass of Prosecco and got a small bottle by mistake. They changed it for a glass no problem and then returned the change even though we did not ask for it. Honesty was refreshing, we felt bad later that we didn’t leave the money they returned as a tip. We will definitely return.Food: 5/5
