"A much beloved old school London pub with an original jukebox. Set across two floors and largely unchanged since the 60s, this friendly and characterful West End stalwart drinking den has enjoyed a firm following for decades. I visited here on a hot Thursday afternoon at 3.30pm and it was already quite busy. I bought a nice pint of London Pride at £6.80. There were no cask ales and a limited selection of spirits. This is not surprising as the pub is limited for space. There is a small bar at ground level and a similar sized bar downstairs. They have an old style jukebox although it was unplugged when I visited. Given the limited space inside a lot of people were drinking outside even though there is no seating. The location is great, just 50 yards from New Oxford St. The toilets are downstairs which may be a problem for the less mobile. An unusual pub but worth a visit.
There is something a little romantic about this tiny bar tucked away on a narrow street . Feels like you've stepped back in time and it provides necessary respite from the bustle of Oxford street. Budvar and Budvar dark are my choice beers here. Sit back, relax and put a song on the jukeboxService: 4/5
A wonderful bar with various choices of beers and ales. Friendly atmosphere and great service. Definitely recommend this place.Service: 5/5
This one was new to me. A shabby old down to earth pub we were after and this delivered. Not many of these left in London let alone bang in the middle of Central London. Expect it to be tight inside. Spill out to the street during the summer. But you go for the inside.
A tiny two floored pub on the north side of Oxford Street. Bradley's Spanish Bar is adorned with perhaps the most memorable genuine 60s and 70s juke box ever, still playing vinyl 45s. Bit of Rolling Stones as I write. A superb little pub with an additional bar and seating in the basement. Tiny but lovely, know so many that would have this as their local. Come down and give it a try, you will love it.
Intimate alley pub with fantastic vibes inside and out. We came here on a Saturday night and the street outside was brimming with people enjoying drinks and conversation. The interior is cozy and inviting as well. Will definitely be returning!Service: 5/5
Tottenham Court Road £6.00 Mahou A famous West End watering hole. . Bradley’s Spanish Bar is located on Hanway Street which is just off Oxford Street. The nearest tube is Tottenham Court Road. . This old school London pub is decorated in the red and yellow of the Spanish flag and opened its doors back in the 1950’s. . There are two bars, a small bar and ground level and a larger bar in the basement. The decor here is dated with a 1980’s local pub feel, which I love. Around the walls are an eclectic mix of prints, postcards , bank notes and pictures of loyal locals. The seating is limited on the ground floor to a comfy banquette with a few low tables and a few stools around the bar, downstairs there is a bit more room but be sure nab a seat when you see one. . Although the name of the pub eludes to an Iberian offering, you wont find any tapas and the like on offer here. What you do get is a good range of Spanish lagers and some homegrown ones too. I opted for a pint of Mahou, I checked with the barman before ordering the correct pronunciation, he said it’s pronounced “Mao” not “Mahoo” as most punters have said. My pint was very agreeable, hit the spot and wasn’t overly expensive. . There is a low-key and unpretentious vibe here and you immediately feel welcome. I have visited this pub a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. This visit was on a Saturday afternoon and the bar was a mix of tourists from Sweden, USA and Ireland plus locals all engaging in a good old chat. The star of the show is the legendary Jukebox which spins 45’s from years ranging from the 50’s to the 90’s. Its was great hearing Blue Monday by New Order blast out from this superb machine. The service here is great, the bar staff are very chatty and take all sorts of conversations in their stride. . @bradleysspanishbar is one of London’s pub gems, when you talk to someone about visiting here they often tell you a story about their experience and always mention the Jukebox. Definitely plan yourself a visit here as part of trip to the West End. . ℹ Info correct on visiting 28.05.22
Every time I come to London, I insist on visiting this place. The atmosphere is really friendly. Its on a small side street, so you may need a map, or just ask someone. It's worth the visit. My favourite bar in the capital.Service: 5/5
Friendly staff. It was packed at ground-floor level, which has a bar and a juke box, but there is a large cellar bar downstairs down some very narrow and steep stone steps! with more seating and booths, and a second bar. We enjoyed Mahou, a beer from Madrid, and there was also London Pride, Brewdog Punk IPA, W9 London Cider, and Estrella all on tap.
So glad I found this little bar just off Oxford Street. Felt like being in a typical dark Spanish Tapas Bar on a sunny day. Lots of Spanish beers on the taps as well as a few craft beers and Guiness of course. An old authentic juke boz with 60s/70s/80s vinyls plays 3 songs for £1. Definitely a place I will be returning.Service: 5/5
