NCP Leeds The Markets is in a good location within Leeds city centre, it’s right by Kirkgate Market, on New York Street, and a couple of minutes away from Trinity Leeds Mall on foot. Parking generally works out at around £2.50 per hour, while still a hefty rate, it’s one of the cheaper places to park nearby, and the evening rate if arriving after 6 pm is particularly useful.nnThe car park was fairly easy to navigate, and I was able to get a space on a busy Saturday. It was straightforward to access the stairwell by swiping the key card and then paying via the machine.nnThere are some parcel lockers by the exit which is handy, and I would consider using this car park again, although the lack of EV charging and the hourly rates despite being cheaper than many others nearby, it’s still expensive are cons which may force me to seek other ways to get into Leeds city centre rather than using this car park in future.

Extremely disappointed with the security standard vs the premium pricing model at this facility.nnI paid £10 for a few hours stay, only for a careless individual to dent my vehicle’s passenger side door in an indecent hit-and-run maneuver and immediately flee the scene to avoid accountability.nnWhen I checked with an employee, I was informed that CCTV coverage is strictly limited to the entrance and exit perimeter grids, leaving the actual internal parking bays in an absolute blind spot. Charging premium inner-city rates while providing zero structural surveillance to protect consumers' vehicles from property damage is completely unacceptable. Zero accountability. Avoid this facility if you value your vehicle's security.

I only usually post reviews for restaurants, cafes etc, but I felt compelled to post a car park review following a recent visit.nnThe car park itself ticks all the usual boxes, however it's the staff that sets this location above the rest!nnCutting a long story short, I've needed help on two separate occasions where a gentleman named Dave was able to solve my issues in no time at all!nnWhat stood out to me and what made me write this review was just how nice this guy is! It felt like I'd known this guy all my life and he was genuinely happy to help, chatting away, calmly putting me at ease despite my parking disaster.nnThis bloke is simply a legend that many others could take note from when working in a public-facing job. Most are like robots that can't connect with the public but Dave is the textbook example of how you should carry yourself professionally. He's not just doing his job, he's going above and beyond to help because he really does care! It shows!nnIf everyone was a little bit more like Dave, this world would be a much better place.

Well located for Leeds shopping and a lot cheaper if you use the app. On which point note that you must download the app and have registered on it before you enter the car park. Otherwise you pay the full rate, which is costly.nnBays are quite tight and the place is a bit down at heel. Damage caused to the first floor months ago is not repaired and there is at least one abandoned vehicle that has been there a long, long time.nnStairwells also smelled of cannabis smoke when I last used it.

Just next to Leeds Market and the city centre. Very convenient. The environment is neat and clean. Parking space and passages are quite narrow. If you want to enjoy the membership parking rate, please enter the carpark with QR CODE in the app instead of taking a parking ticket from the entrance machine!
