Very *very* long-winded process to pay no cash/card points, only through their app, will have you standing on your phone outside for ages “NCP ParkPass” is the name of the app. Good location but very small amount of spaces and similar expensive price to the Q Park around the corner, which has plenty of spaces and far more secure, given that this one is completely open in the middle of everything. Potholes galore. Also a *very* steep ramp in the middle so watch out for your car.
Good to see that it's now tarred and not the muddy ground that it was last time I used it. Easy to pay with NCP app.
Carpark was OK a bit rough on the ground for wheelchair. The disappoint part was trying to pay very long winded setting up an account. Before having to pay, the weather was rubbish so was also not helping Reading instructions on how to pay. So instead of parking and being on my way spent 30mins in the wet trying to pay. NCP need to make this easier for drop in visit or at least have a tap card reader installed.
The issue with double charge on this parking occured 6th of Dec 2022. Customer service took their sweet time to resolve an issue over 2 months!!! They tried to scam me and confirmed the refund on 27th of Jan, no money was refund. Had to write another mail think 10th to chase them. So they actually refunded me on 10th of Feb. AVOID IT! Customer service is beyond low quality too.
This small piece of unloved land is full of pot holes. It only has one way in/out, and cars ‘parked’ at all angles, so it’s very tight getting out, especially if someone is also wanting in at the same time. You can only pay via an app, in advance, and only for chunks of 2 hours or a full day. Wish I’d realised in advance how rubbish it would be and found a proper multi-story with barrier entry and payment on leaving. Only parked there because I was in a rush. Rubbish. Avoid.
Car park is very muddy and full of potholes. But relatively inexpensive for city centre. Pay by app only no cash accepted. Nice murals.
Couldn't connect to website to download app in order to register car. Ended up leaving & going elsewhere as did several other customers, who had same complaint. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AT ALL. And doesn't make it easy as advertised. Will never use this carpark again ... shocking
It took over 15 minutes in the rain to install and outdated app with a complex registration system that requires a bank card to be added. I wished I’d taken public transport or used another parking lot.
The app, verification, and payment process takes far too long. I'm all in favour of online security, but the same service with RingGo took less than two minutes. Good job it was a sunny Spring day and not the usual Scottish weather, we'd have been soaked through while we waited for the confirmation texts and emails to come through!
Worst carpark ever. Large potholes everywhere. No lines. All machines broken. App only.
