A fantastic local bank where the staff are only too happy to help. We have banked with Natwest for over 40 years; things have changed a bit, this is  unavoidable, but the service is still great.

We thought we had walked into a birthday celebration in a 'disco', but no, it really was the natwest in shotton, although it can no longer be called a bank. Long, long queues, loud 'canned' pop music, balloons festooned around a hut-like area and only two bank tellers having to stand ( no seats) behind lecterns (very little security visible).  We felt almost as sorry for them as we did for ourselves! There were two more bank staff approaching customers in said queue asking if they would like to use their internet banking facilities. NO the answer would presumably be as they were actually IN the bank hoping to be attended to by a REAL  PERSON, not at home trying to use the internet banking system!!  Oh dear natwest, you have got it wrong.  The person I was with is moving banks asap.
