My insurance company chose this centre and they took 7 weeks to do repair, they were impossible to get on the phone and it was always a new member of staff, who tried to be helpful. When my car was eventually returned it had 2 scratches on the front that were not there when it went in and a scratch on the new replaced bumper!. I booked it in again to have these done and they provided a courtesy car which I was informed must be returned clean or I would be charged. When my car was returned again a week later it had 2 gouges in the paintwork hard to see how these were accidental as in a awkward area through to the metal under the badge on the front. I spoke to the manager who said she would investigate and offered to take it back in. As I was going away in a couple of days I did not want to risk my car being with them for 2 weeks as I did not trust them to look after it. I booked it in for the week after my return but to be honest I have decided not to let them have it back as the further damage being done is getting worse and I cannot afford to keep having time off for collection and pickup.
The 4 star rating was for the office girl, I had been unable to contact the garage due to a power out, they in turn could not contact me. When I arrived the girl was apologetic and extremely understanding to my needs. Cleared up the problems and assured me of delivery tomorrow. If the repairs are half S good as the front desk service then I will be extremely happy
Just had agent from direct line insurance come to look at car which was with Chatham branch, Kent. Could not believe that it had a different engine and windscreen, wings, and new front , headlights, which took 7 weeks. Went in for a dent in the bumper and few scratches. Respray on front and wings which was not even damaged different colour even reversing sensors not working. Car's milage gone up by 200 miles. And will never answer the phone. They said bring back and will try again. No chance as will have to go to a proper garage.
Car was returned today after two weeks,for a bonnet repair and windscreen. There was overspray on the window rubber surround,unfinished edges on bonnet,polish marks on surround and wheel arches.White marks on internal handle and centre console ,tar on the valance .The car had just been cleaned inside and out!! I don't think so. The car was returned to garage to be rectified but came back in pretty much the same state but now has polish splash marks all over the windscreen. Now in touch with insurance to rectify.
Ensure need to have some lessons from these people.Nationwide Crash repair centre were fantastic
Had my ford kuga in here on a claim job through autoglass last year and in less that a few months the paint has come out of the original chips as they were not done properly and were just dabbed with a touch up pen well i could of done that my self not impressed and now no one wants to answer the phone as work still in warranty......
