Beautiful as always from National trust. Its not my favourite place I have been to, but the grounds are stunning. Lovely horses nearby which seemed to take a liking to us. Well worth a visit. And lovely friendly and helpful staff.

Nice place to spend Easter Sunday. Good for a walk but take your boots if it’s been raining as the paths at the back can get really muddy. Interesting house ..especially for you like pianos :-)

A visit for the Easter hunt. Well organised for what was a very wet day. Lovely grounds but I can imagine in a busy day you'd have little seating for either cafe bought or picnic eating. Didn't go into the house but grounds around are well maintained as are the walking paths.

Beautiful grounds complete with Easter egg hunt for children. House not open all year round but there is a shop and a cafe for a post-walk sit down. Also seasonal trips into the cellars which were used during wartime t shelter from potential air raids.

Did the children's easter egg hunt here recently. The size of the walk was perfect for the little ones. Would recommend it if your at a loose end over easter.
