had the £5 lunch box with pork, flat beans and coleslaw. yum yum. didn’t like the coleslaw though, the sweetness didn’t really go well with the rest of the food. beans were nice and tangy. one of the cheapest meals in boxpark, the cash machines outside the station now charge you to use them now so take cash out somewhere else before you go.
Whilst the service was a little less friendly than last time this okra curry was absolutely delicious with a nice portion of fresh made roti to mop up.
I would say nice idea but... Cultural appropriation again at its finest. There is no roti at this establishment. Not impressed at all! 18/10/2019 Thanks for the response from the owner, however I will again say that what I tried in your establishment was NOT ROTI and never will be. My mother is Guyanese and as such I have grown eating Dhal Purri, plain Roti and Bus' up shot. What I paid £7.50 for was dry dough the empahisis being on the dry and lots of lovely veg with some shredded lamb. I didn't want to be mean but you clearly have no idea how to make ROTI and you never will have. It is not something that you can learn overnight or even after a 1 month course. If anyone wants real ROTI contact me and I can arrange delivery.
A friend recommend I try Nanny Outars, I was happy he did. I tried both the lamb and chicken on a roti. They were both really tasty but preferred the chicken. The roti was lovely, nice and soft complimenting the filing. Once you choose the your desired filling, you choose all the extras you want added to the roti. It then gets rolled up tight & neatly so you could eat it on the go. I preferred to sit down, as this is a serious roti, they fill it generously so 1 will definitely fill you up. Good value for money, good & friendly service! Love the fact that the lamb & chicken is halal!
Clean food and excellent flavors. Just a shame they are associated with Deliveroo do not supply their own delivery. It is what it is never the less great food. Recommend the lamb with rice and roti bread on the side.
Came across this place last night...and what an absolute gem of a place in the most unexpected location. The rotis are made fresh, the pickles were to die for and the chillie sauce...Wow! We also had a couple of patties - I love Gyuanese patties, and I have to say, these are the best I've ever had. They also had a very impressive selection of Rum. I live in Balham, and more then happy to make the journey down to Croydon just for this place. An 11/10 if I could rate it that.
Such lovely staff, really generous and made sure we had lots of great food and drink all night. Great food, decent drinks, nice setting to actually hang out it enjoyed having drinks in here more than the actual box park and super good value for money. Thanks!

Big portions, friendly staff. Tried the dhal puri with pumpkin curry for lunch and was very impressed by how filling it was!
