Very nice and clean, food served nice in paper bag and takeaway boxes, sadly we ate it too quickly to take pictures of the food : next time ! Gustavo below flagged you must have the wrong place, as Mazala doesn't have waiters and isn't a eat in restaurant.
Food was terrible, mixed veg parathas & chapatis bought are not edible and I don't think any human can eat these shown in the picture and mushroom rice is even awful, we had stomach upset for whole week{between 2/23/2022 to 2/26/2022}, worst place ever been in such place in the UK. Hope you guys improve and serve better food which human can eat.
Naan breads were overcooked and felt/tasted as though they had been sitting for some time. Ordered 3 curries, all of which were very watery. Poppadoms and rice were lovely though. I opted to pay upon collection and was charged an extra 50p for card payment, which is now illegal. Overall, don't think I will return.
Our favourite take away in the area! So lucky to have it on our doorstep. Lovely customer service, delicious food with the right level of spice. Both meat and veggie dishes are spot on! Particular favourites are the lamb madras and muttar paneer. The food itself is very well presented and packed nicely, and always delivered with a smile!
It is 100% the best Indian in Croydon. Ok they are not fast when it comes to getting your food to you but once you do get it it’s so nice . I wish it was they can deliver to my new house in Sussex
Ordered a chicken biryani which when reheated a few hours later stank up the whole house. Definitely not fresh ingredients used in the cooking. You cannot hide old rice by putting spices in it. Do not purchase unless you want an upset tummy.
It has gone down badly since lockdown2. My Son and I used to use it the whole time. Now the curries are watery. I had a Prawn Korma and pineapple rice my Son had a Chicken korma. Both curries were swimming in water and tasted horrible. We both gave over half our curries to the foxes as they eat anything . We will be looking for another takeaway and won't be using the Mazala ever again .
This was a home delivery of Saag Paneer £2.90, Prawn Puree £2.65 and Salmon Tikka £3.50. Saag Paneer is one of my fav dishes and Prwn puree is the other when it comes to Asian/Indian food and these items from this estabilshment were perfect. Very little oil, very flavorsome, very good portion size,the delivery was good and on time, friendly, smiling delivery man. My gripe was with the salmon...i know it was a starter but 4 and a half small bite-size pieces of grilled salmon laying on the bottom of a container half filled with greasy onions was deeply disappointing. So generally if the rest of their menu is like the my first two items then i believe you are in for a treat.
Very impressed was just what I asked for Good size portions very tasty will definitely order again.
Really tasty freshly cooked food from Mazala. Being going here for 15 years or so. Loving their king prawn, salmon and sag pannier dishes. Usually did pick up, and staff would always go the extra mile.
