The food was amazing. Very nice staff and a tastefully decorated restaurant. The seafood platter starter was lovely, full of flavour and plenty for two. The Nepalese curry was also excellent and all portions were huge. We have not been before and would definitely come back. Would Highly recommend.
Nice place, manager served us and he was very kind with suggestions on what to get. I preferred getting the curries over the chef specials as they were saucier and matched better with the rice/naans. The rice portions are huge and was nice to see compared to other Nepalese/indian restaurants that give a much smaller portion. Overall decent experience!
We ordered the momos, lamb chops and nepali crispy chicken. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour. The lamb chops were a disappointment, it didn’t have the usual charred flavour and it was a bit grainy rather than tender texture. The momos is a must order just because it’s an authentic starter to order. For the mains we ordered lamb kahari, fish balti and kantipur methi. My favourite was the lamb kahari, full of flavour and the lamb was tender. My least favourite is the kantipir methi, it’s quite pricey for what you get, not much meat in it and the flavour was lacking. I did also enjoy the fish balti as the fish pieces were still in tact, whereas some places make it like all mushy and just not as great. Generous portions of rice too, the garlic naan was fluffy and fresh.
Went in on Friday dinner time without an appointment. Wasn’t busy till 7ish. Lovely service and authentic food. We had chicken and seafood curry, highly recommend the seafood curry and the stir fried rice. Mango lassi is about £6 but come in a huge jar so very reasonable price overall. The guy who served us just very caring and polite to us.
I was there yesterday for my friend's birthday. Thought give my friends a little bit of taste of Nepal. It was my first time there too so i was nervous for both sides. But it turned out to be great. The food was great. The service was great and staffs were friendly. Had a really great time.
Amazing Indian cuisine. The food was mildly spicy yet maintained authenticity. Ambiance is lovely with a great service. I wouldn't mind visiting again. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options.
I ordered from Namaste Nepal via Deliveroo on August 1, 2024, excited to try their Chicken Momos, Egg Fried Rice, Karahi Tandoori Chicken, Onion Kulcha, and Garlic Naan. The food arrived on time and looked appetizing, but unfortunately, a few hours after eating, my family and I started feeling unwell. We all experienced food poisoning, which was incredibly disappointing and concerning. While the flavors were decent, the experience left us sick and worried about the food quality. I won’t be ordering from Namaste Nepal again and would advise others to be cautious.
Bit disappointed in our visit to Namaste Nepal given it is well rated. Some of the food was good, like c-momos really spicy but some of the curries were a little underwhelming. We ordered the tandoori chicken karahi and the kantipur methi as they were all highlighted as favourites. The kantipur methi in particular was really bland. The plain paratha was also a little disappointing as it tasted a bit raw still. The service was also a little odd, it was relatively punctual but not that friendly/smiley, didn’t get offered clean cutlery between starter and mains, I could also see we weren’t alone in struggling to get someone’s attention to pay!
The food here is INCREDIBLE! The service is lovely and the staff are so kind. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Manchester and cannot recommend it enoughFood: 5/5
Ordered for the first time today and feel ripped off. Lamb Bhuna was 80% chunky mushroom filler. This Bhuna was £11.50 and was served in a half sized tray, so it was already a smaller than average portion size at a cost superceding competitors. Taste did not make up for it either as non remarkable, sundries were overinflated in price too and again, the taste didnt warrant the price. Would not order again or recommend this place.
