I’m quite new to N12 Dental and so far, the experience as a patient here has been very nice with staff being so nice and welcoming! I’ve felt comfortable in all the appointments I’ve had with Dr Tabei and the receptionists are always friendly. Today I had a Hygienist appointment for the first time with Desiree and she was so lovely and welcoming which made my nerves go away. I had such a pleasant time. Thank you :
Desi without any question is the best dental hygienist. Even though I have been visiting her for a good few years I feel that she puts me at ease as I had a fear of attending a dental surgery. She is very professional & kind & funny at the same time. She becomes your friend. Also Sahana, the lovely lady at Reception is also very polite & professional. She has always gone out of her way to be extremely helpful when I phone up to make an appointment. I would go to say above & beyond her role. Jacqueline thanks you both Desi & Sahana
I used to be a patient here thankfully not anymore and I left because I believed the dentist was only interested in charging me money for issues that didn’t actually exist. I was a patient for roughly 10 years before I realised that every regular check up I had with Dr Kafil resulted in a minimum of one or two fillings, which at the time I thought was normal I was a teenager/young adult and he even did a root canal on me when I was only 18 years old which looking back I don’t think was probably necessary. I started to suspect that possibly the fillings were unnecessary when I returned for a regular check up 6 months after the last one and he advised I needed 3 fillings! I thought this has to be a joke, it was becoming too much…I took my files and went to another dentist a few days later who confirmed I didn’t need a single filling. This confirmed to me that Dr Kafil was charging me for fillings and maybe even root canals? that I did not need. To me, this showed that he did not care about his patients health - I now have to live with long term side effects of the root canal and a crown that is not aesthetically pleasing. I’ve been with my new dentist for almost 9 years and I’ve had not more than 2 fillings. I’m writing this review now so that if anyone suspects to be in the same situation, it might be worth asking for a second opinion from another dentist. This review is solely based on my experience alone, I’m sure other patients have had their own positive or negative experiences *** Response to your reply: in between appointments I was often travelling and would have my check ups done abroad so my dental check ups were always timely. Below however doesn’t explain why Dr Kafil advised I should have 3 fillings, when upon second opinion from another dentist, I was told my teeth are in perfect order. Since leaving Dr Kafil I have had maybe 2 fillings and no issues, whilst Dr Kafil performed multiple fillings each time. Preventative policy or not, one does not conduct fillings for absolutely no reason. Please kindly send me my records and x rays at earliest convenience as these were not sent to me even when asked at the time. Thanks
To whoever is reading this, I am going to write my review regarding the dental hygienist section of their department. The People I had the appointment with at the time were Dr Kabil and Dr Desiree Sheridan. Both were very thorough with their care, they got rid of all my built up plaque from 19 years, my teeth were shinier, my oral healthcare advice I received was phenomenal. They also during the appointment explained everything in thorough detail, gave good personalised advice and also made sure to keep me well informed during every step. These words; thereby show the exemplary and exceptional care I had received on the day, and would recommend others to follow suit and come here for their dental concerns.
The worst dental practice in London They just want to take money and don’t do anything Very very rude staff, receptionist called parisa Rude dentist his name is hassan kafil Definitely making a complaint about them so they can learn how to treat patients They don’t even deserve any stars but I had to do the one to be able to post this
I have nothing but appreciation and thanks to the staff at N12 for not only saving my teeth but also for delivering excellent service over the many years I have used their practice. Their reception staff are courteous, professional and helpful and the Hygienist and Dentist are people I feel completely comfortable with. Great dental practice. JB.
Highest of praises to Desiree Have been meaning to write this review for a while now. Had an hygienist appointment with Desiree late December, and have nothing but good words for the treatment. Found Desiree to be extremely friendly, having made me feel comfortable from the get-go. Even provided some tips on how to maintain teeth and some products to use. Definitely one of the best hygienists I’ve come across!
Desiree has been my hygienist for many years. I’m so grateful for her care and advice. Due to deep pockets around my gums/teeth, I usually have an appointment every 12 weeks and I can definitely say that she helped me to better manage my dental care. She has a welcoming and gentle manner and really through approach to her work. Thank you for such wonderful treatment.
I have now been going to Desiree for a few years, since she started working at N12 Dental Care practice. She is truly fantastic. She does a very thorough job as well as being gentle whilst working, friendly and truly excellent at her job. I am so grateful to have found someone so great as a hygienist. Highly recommended!
Yesterday, I attended the practice, due to severe toothache in 2 teeth.I found both the dentist,Dr. Kafil and the hygienist, Desiree Sheridan, both very professional, courteous and friendly. All treatments were explained beforehand.Indeed, Dr. Kafil offered and carried out two fillings, there and then, so avoiding another appointment and lingering pain.Excellent! After Desiree’s treatment my teeth feel and look great! Thank you both!
