Terrible service. My second try in different branches london and southampton which indicates the problems stem from the top. Was mis sold a treatment plan finance only to then be told i didn’t need the treatment. Asked to use funds for Invisalign instead then found out practise was sold, appointments were cancelled and branch was unreachable. Tried to raise a complaint and has so far been 30 days with no resolution and mis information given with conflicting timelines, despite the fact i am still paying over £115 per month for treatment i haven’t had, in the midst of a coat of living crisis and my son and i can’t afford to find a new dentist until this is resolved, They haven’t contacted the finance company to cancel or get me a refund. Would avoid at all costs
This is a nice dental surgery but the fact they continually cancel appointments is ridiculous. Mine was cancelled last week and then today my children's has been cancelled. I've been with this surgery over 10years and it least 50% are cancelled. Hire more reliable staff
I had my dental bridge fall out over the weekend. Fortunately I was able to get an appointment yesterday to get it sorted out. I can't speak highly enough of Karan Mantri who was able to sort my bridge out. Thank you so much
I have just returned from having a broken tooth dealt with at the Anglesea Road practice. The team working in the end surgery of the ground floor were thoroughly professional in dealing with my problem yet retained a very personable manner throughout. We had a couple of laughs and I eventually left the surgery feeling a whole lot better than when I went in earlier. Unfortunately I didn't catch their names - but you know who you are and a big thank you for your help! I will have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone who asks.
Had my first appointment in March 2020, had to be cancelled due to covid. Tried again in March 2021, told I was on their priority list, twice, third time I rang was told as I hadn't had my first appointment I was no longer on their books. Spoke with the practice manager and she confirmed I was on the priority list, that was beginning of May, I'm still waiting to hear from them about an appointment, luckily I found another dentist to take me onto their books. Wouldn't touch this practice with a barge pole.
Never ever in my life could I have imagined giving a dentist 1 star, let alone 5!!! I am a very very nervous patient and I have not been to the dentist for about 11 years. Last time I was sedated. After phoning around for hours, trying to get a feel for a place, I was lucky enough to speak to Clare on reception. She was so understanding and helpful. Made me an appointment with a new dentist called William. I was very scared about going, but needed to. William and the dental nurse Pippa were so understanding and patient with me. I told him I was feeling sick and didnt want any utensils put in my mouth because I was too scared. He totally understood and listened to me. He is a real credit to your company. Because of my experience, I am now looking forward to getting all my teeth sorted and being able to really smile again. Thankyou William
I really recommend this practice! Everyone I've dealt with here has been lovely. I had my first treatment here today and despite being very anxious and very nervous of dental pain, the dentist and dental nurse were so patient and kind and didn't make me feel at all bad about how useless I am in the dentist's chair. Highly recommend!
I am/was an extremely nervous patient that hadn't had the best experiences with dentists over the years. I hadn't seen a dentist for an extremely long time, but I began to get issues that I just couldn't put off any longer when I decided to come to mydentist in Shirley. I have been seeing Dr Karan and I cannot praise him highly enough. He is a fantastic dentist with a very calming manner. He knew I was nervous, but he was able to put me at ease. My first appointment, he went above and beyond to explain to me what was wrong with my teeth and what the process was going to be. I have a tooth another dentist had previously told me needed extracting, and Karan has told me he can save it. He's even gone as far as to make me a study model of my teeth so we can get a view of how they are at this moment in time and see how they change in the future. My second appointment, I had a filling in my wisdom tooth and I can honestly say it was the most painless filling I have ever had. I didn't feel the injection and for such a large tooth with so much damage, it was done quickly and painlessly. I have more appointments coming up with Karan and I genuinely feel at ease about it. He is highly skilled, and an all round lovely person. I have full trust in him to restore my teeth and look after them going forward. A million stars for mydentist Shirley and Karan. Thank you so much.
I can not express how well this team works together and how confident I am in all the descisions they make and options they present! Firstly I have to say Clare on reception is an absolute legend who delivers a really friendly, genuine manner is efficient and so easy to talk to. She is always customer first Karan is my dentist and he is epic! He really takes care of you and always has the best outcome for you at heart. His dentistry skill is next level and he is persistent and resilient and highly effective. He is also a really lovely human being! The whole team is brilliant, I am their worst nightmare as a patient I don't numb easily or at all sometimes which makes what they do so much harder but they always work it out. Top marks guys
Years ago, there was one scam with them that we managed to spot. However, it was not the only one. They recently admitted that there was another overpayment or "scam" a few years ago and are now paying it back. So a big plus for having someone checked their accounting and returns were made. And I wasn't the only one.
